Incredible accommodations and hosts.
The farm house was outstanding! Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. You will not find a better place to stay.
Great base for travel across south west Ireland
Dan and Anne are wonderful hosts, ensuring we had all we needed. The house is great. So rustic and unique. Linens are spotlessly clean. Beds comfortable. Several food and beverage items were included which was a bonus. Beautiful Sadie the dog welcomed us home each day.
Wonderful stay - pure Irish charm
What a gem this place is and the hosts couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating. Dan had great advice on what to visit of the area and Ann was wonderful with any questions we had before we arrived. The house was very clean, beds extremely comfortable and the location was great for exploring the area.
Heaven on Earth
We have stayed at a number of rental properties over the years but this has been one of our best experiences ever. Our family of 5 loved the old farm house and it had everything we needed. Anne and Dan are the best hosts and checked on us throughout the stay. Dan also gives excellent tips on what to see and do. Of course, we loved having Sadie the farm dog visit with us daily and we wanted to bring her back home to the States with us! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone vacationing in Ireland. The house is only 45 minutes from Shannon Airport and within a couple of hours drive from most sightseeing spots. Thanks Anne and Dan for sharing your home with us....it made our vacation that much more memorable and we hope to come back soon!
Quiet, comfortable farmhouse with wonderful hosts
A 300 year old farmhouse beautifully restored. The hosts - Anne and Dan- are around when you need them. They are never intrusive. They left a wonderful welcome package of food and drinks so there was no need to go shopping before you arrive. You get a special welcome from their loveable dog, Sadie! The area they are in is close to the lovely village of Adare and surrounded by. Lots of Irish historical sites. This was one of our best HomeAway properties, We would certainly return and recommend its spaciousness and tranquility wholeheartedly . Thanks Anne and. Dan !
Charming home away from home
We absolutely loved our home away from home and, should we be lucky enough to return to Ireland, would stay in this house again. The house had warmth, comfort, and charm and Dan, Anne, and Sadie took great care of us. When we arrived, there was food waiting for us, which was so welcome after a long day of travel and sightseeing. Sadie greeted us as we drove up and continued to welcome us home after each day of sightseeing, which my daughters particularly enjoyed. Dan laid a fire for us each day and two of the evenings we lit a fire and relaxed in the living room before heading off to bed. Dan was so helpful in giving us advice and information on places to visit and provided brochures on attractions in the area. I looked forward to returning to the house each evening and only wish we could have stayed longer to further enjoy the comfort of the home and the beauty of Ireland.
Dear John, Kate and Family, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us and your gracious message which we greatly appreciate and so glad you felt so at home...we wish you and the girls a wonderful Summer and who knows a return visit in the future... Warmest Regards, Dan and Anne
