Hi, we are Tina and Terry Bacon.
We purchased our villa in 2003 after looking around the area. We fell in love with the unspoilt scenery and the traditional Spanish way of life in Hondon de las Frailes but due to family ties we were unable to move out there.
Feeling it was such a great, peaceful location and with places to explore we decided to try renting to holidaymakers. This has been very successful and satisfying knowing we can contribute to happy holidays in the sun for other people. We listen to our clients and have made improvements over the years for their increased comfort and entertainment and will continue to do so.

Villa Tocino is situated inland, surrounded by mountains, in an elevated position overlooking the village of Hondon de los Frailes. It is ideal for quiet relaxation but near enough for visiting the more lively Mediterranean coastal areas. Located in a tranquil setting within its own almond grove with beautiful 180 degree views of the surrounding mountains. The villa offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the coast but only 30 minutes drive from the A7 motorway and 40 minutes from Alicante Airport, or only 75 minutes from Murcia Airport, on the Costa Blanca.

The villa was extremely comfortable and had everything needed for a great holiday. The pool was a wonderful addition and used on a daily basis by all of us. It is just what is needed for a quiet, relaxing holiday, with the benefit of having places to visit not too far away for a change of scene.

Hondon de los Frailes is a typical agricultural village, 74 percent of its land is given over to farming, mainly of grapes, olives and almonds though it also produces other crops that grow on irrigated land. Citric fruits, vegetables and dates are some of the typical produce grown, which farmers take to markets throughout the province. In addition to agriculture, hemp products such as brooms and brushes are also produced.
The surrounding Crevillente mountains provide ideal walking for enthusiasts and casual ramblers. The area is particularly attractive for cyclists for its testing mountain passes which reward you with spectacular views.

The property and the pool is maintained regularly and is cleaned before rental period.
A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 will secure the booking.
