Hi, we are Tina and Terry Bacon.
We purchased our villa in 2003 after looking around the area. We fell in love with the unspoilt scenery and the traditional Spanish way of life in Hondon de las Frailes but due to family ties we were unable to move out there.
Feeling it was such a great, peaceful location and with places to explore we decided to try renting to holidaymakers. This has been very successful and satisfying knowing we can contribute to happy holidays in the sun for other people. We listen to our clients and have made improvements over the years for their increased comfort and entertainment and will continue to do so.

Villa Tocino is situated inland, surrounded by mountains, in an elevated position overlooking the village of Hondon de los Frailes. It is ideal for quiet relaxation but near enough for visiting the more lively Mediterranean coastal areas. Located in a tranquil setting within its own almond grove with beautiful 180 degree views of the surrounding mountains. The villa offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the coast but only 30 minutes drive from the A7 motorway and 40 minutes from Alicante Airport, or only 75 minutes from Murcia Airport, on the Costa Blanca.
'We enjoyed our stay at Villa Tocino, the family soon settled into Spanish life… a good holiday in a peaceful setting.' The Gardener Family
'Well equipped, beautifully clean and furnished.' Anon
'We had a great holiday - the villa has been like a home from home with a bonus of a pool. ' The Symons Family
'This villa had everything we wanted. The scenery was breathtaking - with lovely views and a tranquil setting. The whole area is very Spanish and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. My two boys were thrilled with the pool and we spent many hours swimming or just relaxing in the garden.' Julie Pearce-Martin
Lovely comfortable villa, if your looking for a peaceful location this is for you, fantastic views, nice pool to cool off in. Car essential. We had a great week all we needed was there and a very helpful J&J on hand if needed. Thankyou for a very relaxed holiday.

The villa was extremely comfortable and had everything needed for a great holiday. The pool was a wonderful addition and used on a daily basis by all of us. It is just what is needed for a quiet, relaxing holiday, with the benefit of having places to visit not too far away for a change of scene.
Would thoroughly recommend for a family holiday.
Beautiful villa, stunning views, perfect location, fantastic pool and can't wait to stay again 😃
All my friends and I would like to say that our stay in your house was fantastic. The house was really clean and beautiful.
The description of the place was quite good, we arrived easily to the house.
Once we came in we found that you provide the house with some food and towel service that we really nice and kind.
Of course we recommend the hour to other people.
Hondon de los Frailes is a typical agricultural village, 74 percent of its land is given over to farming, mainly of grapes, olives and almonds though it also produces other crops that grow on irrigated land. Citric fruits, vegetables and dates are some of the typical produce grown, which farmers take to markets throughout the province. In addition to agriculture, hemp products such as brooms and brushes are also produced.
The surrounding Crevillente mountains provide ideal walking for enthusiasts and casual ramblers. The area is particularly attractive for cyclists for its testing mountain passes which reward you with spectacular views.
