In the countryside, a haven of peace with a good 'chi' to relax

A nice and entertaining getaway? This old farmhouse has been renovated and converted into a spacious gîte on 4000 m² of lawn and orchard. In the country village of Villers-le-Temple in Condroz, it is ideally located between Liège and Huy. You can enjoy moments of peace in an equestrian and country atmosphere, decorated according to your mood of various sports and cultural activities available in the area. The kitchen is full-equipped. Depending on the season, a cozy wood stove in the living room or a large terrace await you. The cottage is equipped with a washing machine, internet / wifi + TV, mini soccer, mini tennis.

The property is rented for the week (7 nights, from Friday evening to Friday morning before 10 am or other to be agreed) or for we (2 nights, from Friday evening to Sunday evening). We would like to thank Marianne and Marc for allowing us to stay in their house. The house is very well maintained, situated in a beautiful area and is somewhere we would stay again in the future.

The house was very well equipped and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Both Marianne and Marc gave us advice on what places to visit, where to eat and how to make the most of our holiday.

All people we met in villers le temple and in Brussels/Spa/malmedy/ were very friendly.

Un nouvel an inoubliable

Que dire, si ce n'est que nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce gîte. L accueil très chaleureux de nos hôtes très attentionnés. La musardière est un cocon douillet où rien ne manque, nichée dans un magnifique village. Les grandes villes comme liège, dînant et Bruxelles ne sont pas loin. Merci encore Marianne pour votre accueil.

La Musardière is een heel gezellig en verzorgd ruim huis, met vriendelijke ontvangst bij aankomst, alles is er aanwezig, gezellig en warm met een mooie (wandel)omgeving, kortom, geen enkel minpunt. Wij hadden een heel fijn verblijf daar met de familie. Ook zeer correcte en vlotte afhandeling van alle afspraken en financiën. Een aanrader dus!

What a delight to meet the hosts who are highly professional, warm and friendly. Our experience exceeded our expectations.Their folder of information about the house, the local facilities and places to visit was outstanding. The house is equipped with every conceivable need for a perfect stay. You will have a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this home. The location is beautiful and very quiet, and well placed for day trips. The house is huge, with plenty of room for family members to all get peace and quiet after a long day of sight seeing. My family and I absolutely loved our stay in this beautifully presented home. And it was a bargain! This would be a great place for families, several couples or a group of mature friends.

Das Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet, bestens ausgestattet und hat viel Flair. Auch die Umgebung bietet viel. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und äußerst hilfsbereit! Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Coming from Liège and Namur, take the E42 and exit at Villers-le-Bouillet. Down the N684 to the Tihange. Turn left and walk along the Meuse (N90) and take the exit right to Ombret. Follow the N696 to a Y that must be right (road to France). Climb the road to France that extends from the street to the Bois de la Tour and the street of the Abbey Farm. At the end of it, turn right (the white concrete barriers) and you're street Clémodeau. Enter the Clémodeau street ride +/- 350m then take the first street on your left and you are the Marnave Thier.

Local products at the neighboring farm.

For sports: horse rides and horse accommodation possible in the immediate vicinity (van included), hiking 'discover nature' with or without, cycling and climbing. Must Visits: Castle of Modave, Jehay Castle, City of Huy, among other ...

For gourmets, some good restaurants nearby to remember and tested: the Chawetay the Coq aux Champs, Apropos, the Rose Garden and others whose details will be provided on site.
