About the property

The house is located in the center of the medieval town of Vicopisano, in a very quiet area, but just a few steps away is a large square with a bar / wine bar / butcher / deli / mini supermarket / pizza / pharmacy / post office / bank / small shops.

The house has two bedrooms, one with a window and a double bed, the other with 2 single beds (can be pushed together) and a glass door leading to the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen (with an antique marble sink), kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and French doors leading to the garden. The cozy living room is equipped with satellite TV and free internet access. There are two bathrooms with shower and washing machine. You can enter the house through the garden (with a few steps), or the stairs in the Medieval Tower. The house is on one level.

The house has an enclosed garden where you can eat "al fresco", and cooking on charcoal barbecue.


We can organize cooking lessons, private lunch and dinners, family solution (cooking at home min. 3 times/week) to prepare and to savor the tasties traditional Tuscan dishes with the guest.

The house is a separate apartment that can accommodate a family of four and provide a cot and a high chair for baby. The house is also ideal to accommodate 2 couples looking for a romantic getaway, ensuring maximum privacy for all with the availability of two bathrooms with shower. (1 en-suite bathroom is in the bedroom).

Every window and door of the house are protected by mosquito nets, so you can enjoy the cool of the evening, without the distraction of an occasional flight of mosquitoes or flies.

The house has a patio overlooking the garden.

Sympathique location

Très jolie maison (un peu sombre mais nous sommes dans la partie médiévale du village) avec un petit jardin...Attention aux moustiques :)

Accueil sympathique avec un panier de produits locaux

Petit bé-mol avec le petit bar-restaurant situé juste sous les fenêtres d'une des deux chambres : quand il fait chaud la nuit, il faut fermer les fenêtres si on veut éviter le bruit...Mais tout s’arrête vers minuit, donc pas un vrai problème lorsqu'on est en vacances et qu'on a du temps.

Très bon logement dans un petit village tranquille

Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis chaleureusement en nous offrant un panier de délicieux produits locaux à déguster; ils ont été très disponibles tout au long de notre séjour de deux semaines. Le logement était très propre et fort bien entretenu. Comme dans toutes les maisons plus anciennes, le logement est un peu sombre, mais ça n'a pas été un problème. Le village offre toutes les commodités nécessaires: épicerie, boucherie (délicieux prosciutto-maison), bars/café, pharmacie, guichets automatiques, pizzeria. L'autobus local permet de se rendre aisément à Pise ou à la gare ferroviaire de Pontedera. Le village est très bien situé pour visiter, en voiture, les localités du nord de la Toscane: Buti, Lucca, Volterra, Pise, Florence, San Miniato, pour n'en nommer que quelques-unes.
