Petit mais accueillant, je recommande cet appartement pour des personnes ou couples qui veulent vivre une séjour tranquille à Versailles.
The space is so well used! It is absolutely perfect and I had everything I needed. A kitchen to cook in, a space to rest in, a lovely wide open window, and just a short walk to the palace gardens. Just across the street was a grocer, I had access to everything I needed and a fabulous apartment to live in. There was also a park and some amazing little restraraunts everywhere! Everything was within walking distance, and Cecilé even had a book with her own recommendations and a little bit of history (and her picks are spot on! I went to a few and they were great!).
The place was clean and well looked after, had all the basic essentials, Cecilé was even so gracious as to pick me up from the train station and help me with my bags! She was invaluable and the perfect host, ready to answer any questions I had whenever they came up.
I felt like I'd been living there all my life. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
I highly recommend staying at L'Atelier des Carres, located in the heart of the Saint Louis district of Versailles. This studio apartment truly is a hidden treasure. I had the pleasure of staying at L'Atelier des Carres for 9 months while attending Jean Sable's decorative painting school, located just a few short blocks away. Tastefully appointed with stylish, quality furniture, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom, you can't help but feel at home right away. The building itself is very secure, with beautifully designed entry and hallways. From the 4th floor apartment you can enjoy a view across the rooftops to the forest around Versailles. L'Atelier des Carres is a 5 minute walk from the Saint Louis Cathedral, as well as Rue Satory and many restaurants and wine bars. Also in walking distance is the Notre Dame market, Captonic gym, cinemas and Suisse Lake. Best of all, the Palace is less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Cecile, the owner, is very professional and easy to communicate with. She also made sure my stay was very comfortable, and went out of her way to help me with my luggage and arrival. If you are looking for a charming and cozy apartment with artistic touches in the heart of Versailles, this place is for you!
J'ai eu la chance de pouvoir revenir une seconde fois à ce beau studio! J'adore la ville, l'emplacement de l'appartement et aussi la propietarie... Cécile est toujours gentil et attentionnée avec moi. J'espère retourner à bientôt .
Merci beaucoup! 😀
