2 bedroom, 2.5 bath - Downtown Historic District - Great Location w/ Mtn Views
- english, spanish
We are originally from Rockford, Il and Columbus, Ohio. Moving to Colorado was always a dream. We now live in Denver but love our weekend getaways to Breckenridge. It's a nice escape from the big city Denver has become. We are avid mountain bikers, skiers, hikers, fly fisherman, and foodies. Spending time in Breck covers all of our passions and is a great place for our children to do the same. Our home has created many wonderful memories for us and we hope it will for you too.
Jennifer purchased this Townhome in 2014
Why Jennifer chose Historic District
We named our property the "Breck Chalet" over a couple glasses of wine. We feel it has fun personal touches that you don't typically see in VRBO properties. Pictures of the town and mountain taken by us, our own logo that you will see on glasses and water bottles, and a authentic Colorado feel. It's been fun creating our home away from home.
What makes this Townhome unique
LOCATION! This home is in a perfect location, right off main street. A vacation in this home will provide you with so many options other than skiing, right out of your back door. The salt water hot tub it really nice. We also have heated sidewalks and parking spots which make it easy to get in and out after a big snowstorm.

Amazing location in Breckenridge
Property is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The location just cannot be beat. Just one block from all of the options on Main Street, yet tucked away behind the trees on a fairly quiet street. Walking distance to everything that we wanted to do in Breck. The dedicated parking space was great, but as other reviewers mentioned, would be tight for larger trucks / SUVs.
The layout was perfect for our family of four. Kids loved the bunk room on the lower level, living/dining on the main level, and the master up was great. Everything was clean, well stocked, and we had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!
Great location right in the middle of town
Great location and cozy atmosphere. Jennifer was great to work with.
Great property, great location
Family of 5, including 3 adult children stayed here 12/2018 between Christmas and New Years Eve. The home is right in the downtown location and literally 100 yards from small, local grocery store. Better to stock up at Safeway off of I 70 and use this store for incidentals as it offers resort prices. The kitchen is super well stocked for baking and cooking: pots, pans and ingredients. The first floor walking area is heated which is a nice thing to look forward to after a long day on the hills. Very clean and updated with a nice first floor gathering area. The owner is very nice and accommodating.
Things that may help you if your considering this property: The listing and the picture refer to the home as a "chalet". Although this isn't inaccurate in describing its exterior design, it is also a 3 story townhouse with a shared wall to the rear of one additional unit that has ingress toward the rear of the structure. It seems this is a historic home that was divided into two halves. There was zero noise and inconvenience due to this but I was searching for a free standing home, and at this price per night probably should have had it.
The home is 3 stories but small, with the kitchen, great room and bathroom all on the first floor. Downstairs is a bedroom with a full/twin size bunk bed, plus a pull out mattress. If you use the pull out mattress in the bottom floor you will have to navigate around that person in the dark to use the bathroom. So, although the house does in fact sleep 7, it will remind you very much of camp, or a slumber party for 2-5 of of your party.
The master suite is terrific with lots of room, large bathroom, fireplace and flat panel TX with Netflix. The owners do not skimp on paper products and essentials for everyday living like some rental owners.
The parking space in the rear alley behind the house is convenient with a stairway and secure gate leading up to the home. The spot itself is small and will not easily accommodate a pickup truck or similar.
The sidewalks outside the home are heated to keep the passage free of snow and easy to navigate.
beautiful place with a perfect location.
Jennifer was great to work with.
Lovely little ski chalet
This place is beautifully appointed and the beds have been the most comfortable we have slept in at a rental home. You are steps away from all the restaurants and stores in Breck. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a few minor issues but the owner is very responsive.
Perfect location and Excellent Hospitality
We took a girls trip with 6 of us to Breckenridge for a long weekend. The location of the house was central to everything! Tons of great restaurants, bars, and a grocery store with a liquor store attached within walking distance. The house was adorable inside and very clean. Great for a group of friends or a family! The hosts were really helpful in the booking process and during our stay! I would definently book my stay here again!
