Tastefully decorated Riad in a charming village. Located near the sea and the mountains. Fantastic surfing area
I live in Norway, in a place called Nesodden just outside Oslo. I work with art, sculpture, photo, film and interior. I also have courses in sculpture making.
Hanne Birgitte Nystrøm purchased this house in 2007
I wanted a place in the sun where I could experience a different culture. I love the morroccan crafts and the endless photographic. And of courses the sea and the mountains. I also wanted a big design challenge. To create my own place.
The perfect place and holiday. An autentic beautifully decorated house with all possible comfort, delicat bathes and rooms, with lots of space, 2 roof terasses to watch the se during day, and stars and moon at nigt. 5 minutes s to the marketstreet in the village, Aourir, which seemed free from tourism. Adding to this was also the weather 28- 32 degrees, making us frequent guest at near by beaches and water. Nice trips to neigbouring villag by sea and in the mountain expanded the impressions of a most delightful and recommendable stay!!
A beautiful house in marrocan classic style architechture with lovingly details. A lot of room for getting together, comfortable niches to be by yourself and a sunny roof terrace, close to the sun and the ocean. The house in located in an authentic town in between locals - a contrast to the luxury but a good way to get in contact to the people and there culture. For example through a morning walk for fresh bread or fresh fish in the evening.
We stayed in the house for 15 days with two adults and three teenagers. The house is very nice and practical since it has several living areas. The ground floor has three bedrooms that never becomes warm and a small rest area. First floor contains the kitchen and a living room. Nice and practical. The roof area has two levels including a living room and cooking facilities. We had all breakfasts and late dinners on the roof - very nice. From the top level we enjoyed the sun, the spectacular view over the Atlantic and part of the city where we watched the local life. We rented a car at the airport which was rather cheap. We had to park the car one block from the house since the last hill i quite steep.
Since its only a few hundred meter to the city center we went there quite often to visit hotel Littoral to do our internet activities and visit the local shops to buy the necessary food. On Wednesdays we also visited the local food market which took place close to the city center. Every morning we went 100m down the road to the local bakery and bought warm bread for breakfast as well.
The temperature was very nice in the period and ranged from 24-28C. The temperature in the water was also very nice - about 24C.
We also wernt several times to Agadir since we felt the need to do some shopping in Marjane which is a large shopping mall where you can buy almost everything. The best trip however was visiting Imouzzer and Paradise Valley. A nice trip with a beautiful scenery. We did not visit Taroudant this summer since the last time we went there the temperature was about 45C.
Living in Marocco is also rather cheap and compared to Norway the prices is about 40% of what we are used to.

15 minutes drive from Agadir. Following the road by the sea. When you arrive Aourir you turn to the right, and after ca 100m you turn again to the right.
This village is famous for their 'Tagine' restaurants.
