I bought the house because I loved it, there were other possibilities but this place has a lot of charm. I like quiet and this is the perfect time to stop listening to the noise corner, cars and so on, so you can enjoy nature and rest.

What makes this house unique

If you are a person who likes to enjoy nature, fresh and quiet nights, a swim in the light of the moon without light pollution or chat with friends in a beautiful garden with no horn bother him more than the morning when the baker announces its arrival laden with bread and breakfast items.

You can go biking for Boulebard located at 500m or just take a walk on foot from the house by the beautiful golf course without the typical crowds of the city.

Excellent home, perfect location and nice owners

We chose this property based on the pictures and they are true to reality. The large and very clean home is located a couple of km from the town with some decent restaurants, grocery stores and the beaches. The home is well decorated, everything you need is there, and it is very private. From the roof terrace you can see the sea and our favorite spot was the covered terrace with the screens to keep the mosquitoes out (as seen on the pictures.) We enjoyed the pool, the Gas BBQ and the paella pan, the best paella we ever had/made! If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the (private) place to go!

The owners are very nice and speak both French and English.

Some small improvements could be the internet speed (difficult in this area though), and the mattress in the master bedroom was a little hard.

EXTRA pour les amateurs de calme et de tranquilité tout en restant près des plages, lors de notre arrivée, la propriétaire m'a fait voir les alentours en me montrant les magasins, les plages ..... Très utile pour ne pas devoir chercher.

la casa azul

Nous avons passé 40 jours dans cette très jolie maison. Elle est très agréable, lumineuse, spacieuse et bien agencée. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à quitter cet endroit à la fin de notre séjour (28/02/2017). Nous pensons y passer un autre hiver mais cette fois nous resterons plus longtemps. Les propriétaires sont adorables disponibles et soucieux de notre bien être. Maria nous a concocté une liste de curiosités et de restaurants, elle a réservé nos places pour participer au défilé du carnaval... à voir absolument, époustouflant ! La petite ville d'Aguilas à proximité est sympathique et les habitants accueillants. Que vous soyez amateur de culture ou de plages vous trouverez votre bonheur dans ce petit coin d'Andalousie

Nous avons séjourné 40 jours à la "Casa Azul". Cette maison est très agréable, lumineuse, spacieuse et bien située. Nous avons aimé ce petit coin d'Andalousie que nous avons quitté avec regrets mais nous pensons y retourner passer un autre hiver. Pour les amateurs de plages la côte en propose de nombreuses de la petite intime aux plus grandes. Le patrimoine culturel est lui aussi présent et intéressant. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, disponibles et toujours soucieux du bien être des vacanciers. Maria vous donnera tous les bons plans, restaurants, visites et manifestations à ne pas manquer. Sur son conseil et avec son aide nous avons été au défilé de carnaval... inimaginable !

Highway to Aguilas (Murcia). From Aguilas to San Juan de los terreros, 9 Km local road. San Juan de los Terreros is located at the Mojacar area, Almería coast (Andalucia), near the natural park of Cabo de Gata, to half of way between the cities of Almeria and Cartagena and Murcia. Villa is 100 km from the Almería or Murcia airport and 170 Km fro Alicante airport. The Almeria coastline is a large extent undiscovered by mass tourism. It has lovely villages, a wonderful nature reserve –Cabo de Gata- and lunar landscapes in Almería inland. Its beaches are credited with European Union environmental blue flags. The Costa de Almeria has the driest and warmest climate in Europe with an average rainfall of 11 inches and average annual sunshine of 320 days. Whilst a lot of the coast have been over developed with high rise blocks, nightclubs and kiss-me-quick mentality, this part of Spain remains traditional and friendly. The coastal resorts are more family-orientated and cater more to Golfers, walkers cyclists and relaxation seekers than clubbers. The freeway and local roads sure an easy access to beautiful beaches, natural parks, historic castles or larger towns for shopping. Covering 45,663ha of the Almeria region, the Natural Park Cabo de Gata is the Andalucia's largest coastal protected area.

San Juan de los Terreros is located on a charming, quiet bay of the Almería Coastline, exotic and different, with crystalline and warm waters, rich in fauna and flora, with exclusive beaches and caves in which to bathe, dive or take the sun. Dry climate with low humidity rates all year long, which makes this place specially recommended for people suffering from allergy, lungs or chest. Over the last few years it has become a popular holiday destination with European and Spanish families. This has benefited the town with the recent building of a promenade along the beach and boulevards. Whilst lively and full of the town is ideal for holiday makers looking for a more sedate and relaxing place to have a glass of wine, lovely fish meal and a walk along the beach.
