This beautifully furnished apartment is situated at Playa Flamenca and is superbly located 300m from 2 excellent family beaches (Blue Flag). Nearby facilities include a large supermarket, 2min walk, and the popular Playa Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre, with numerous bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes, within a 5 min walk. The new La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Mall is only a 10 min walk and boasts over 150 shops, outlets, bars and restaurants. The apartment is a perfect base for a relaxing holiday for sunbathers, golfers, couples and families alike. It is in the heart of a golfers paradise with courses at Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor within 15min drive. The world famous La Manga Golf resort is 45min away.

The apartment overlooks the pool and has a superb private roof solarium with sea view. The apartment contains a large open plan lounge, with Parisian balcony, dining and kitchen area. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin and a family bathroom. The large private roof solarium is reached via the private staircase and has a BBQ, large table with 6 chairs and sun loungers.

Golf: The apartment is within 30 minutes drive of six 18 hole golf courses. Villamartin, which has previously hosted international competitions, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are all within 15 minutes. A 45 minute drive south will take you to the renowned La Manga International Golf Resort. Handicap Certificates are required at some but not all of the nearby courses. All courses speak English. Enjoy all year round golf in pleasant surroundings coupled with a quiet and relaxing break by the sea. Murcia Airport has now extended its international flights to the UK and is a 15 minute drive from the apartment.

Beaches: The beach at Playa Flamenca is only a 5 minute stroll away. There are three Blue flag beaches only minutes away by car. Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Campoamor. Due to the wonderful climate all year round the Costa Blanca enjoys over 320 days of sunshine annually. Other beaches include Las Palmeras, Torrevieja and Torre de la Horadada. Most water sports can be found in the area. Most beaches have bars/cafes for drinks and light lunches.

Why Jane / Paul chose Orihuela Area

We purchased our apartment in Playa Flamenca after enjoying many holidays in the surrounding area, both with our families and on our own. We felt that buying a property in this area would allow us to continue to holiday here, but with the added benefit of being able to travel when it suited us.

What makes this apartment unique

The minute we viewed this apartment we knew it was right for us, it is light and airy with a venetian patio overlooking the pool to one end of the lounge and a small balcony with sea view to the other. The grounds are beautifully maintained with tiled and grass areas around a clean inviting pool, and mature trees and shrubs throughout the complex.

The location of the apartment is ideal for us as it is centrally located in the Playa Flamenca area, with the benefit of being able to walk to all the local amenities, beach, supermarket, shopping mall, market, pubs and restaurants.

We felt that we had found our own little paradise!

Playa Flamenca is situated on the Mediterranean coast 6km south of Torrevieja adjacent to the N332 Alicante - Cartagena road. The area is surrounded by safe, sandy, blue flag beaches. The nearby town of Torrevieja is 28 miles South of Allicante on the Costa Blanca. This area boasts of 300 days of sunshine per year. Torrevieja is a typical Spanish Town, with an expanding harbour and marina. Torrevieja caters for all tastes with bars, restaurants, an aqua park, go-cart tracks, etc., whilst Orihuela Costa is preserved for the more discerning family atmosphere. Explore Historical Orihuela and typical Spanish working towns close by.

There are 2 on site outdoor swimming pools, one with a baby pool. A fitness centre with jacuzzi is located across the road from the complex next to the commercial centres (including Mercadona). The apartment has lovely views of the swimming pool and communal gardens from both balconies. Our large private solarium is great for eating al-fresco, with barbecue, sun loungers and patio furniture, or alternatively ideal for relaxing and soaking up the afternoon sun. The lounge leads onto the balcony with sea views. It is an ideal location for a family holiday. Satellite TV is available in the apartment. A Spanish market is held every Saturday at Playa Flamenca offering many bargains. There are also large markets held in Torrevieja on Friday, Guardamar on Wednesday and even a 'Boot Fair' on Sundays at Guardamar where you can pick up authentic Spanish household items.

You have to go here.....

If you only go to Playa FLamenca once, go to this apartment! The best of any home from home. Apartment so central for shops, restaurant and beach.....all of which I might add are great! The other reviews are spot on, so much so, I don't feel I have to tell you how good the resort is or the fabulous standard of the apartment or indeed it all being about location,location location!!, I'm more than happy to brag..... I've been lucky to go for a week in June this year and a few months later...just back yesterday. While the weather on the whole was fab in June and a bit of a mixed bag this September(the odd thunderstorm...added to the excitement) it was being in this apartment that made be give it an overall 10/10! Yeah, readers you have guessed it....I'm already booked for June 15! Fingers crossed I can get to squash a wee cheeky week in before then! Until then, please go visit and enjoy!

What a wonderful, relaxing time my husband and I had at your apartment. We normally go all inclusive through a tour operator, so were a bit apprehensive doing it ourselves but needn't have been. From initial booking,transfers, to the apartment being very central we have now been converted. The apartment was great and well equiped. The roof top terrace was lovely for sunbathing and having an evening drink. The grounds and pool are well maintained. Huge supermarket across from apartment, beach,La Zenia Boulevard,Saturday Market all 5-10 min walk. Commercial centre with various eating places and pubs again about 10 min walk. I wouldn't hesitate recommending your apartment and if anyone who, like us, had doubts should try it, they definately won't be disappointed. Thanks again Jane for everything.

Great Location

Central location, 5 mins walk to bars/retaurants, 10 mins to beach supermarket just across the road. Lovely pool & sunroof, good communication with owners who arrange transfers for you , Clean & tidy , comfortable beds would recommend.

Great Location

this was our second visit to this property, It really is as described, 10 mins to the beach, supermarket just across the road, and lots of bars/restaurants 5mins walk,you don't need a car here. Transfers arranged with Adrian,he is very reliable. Lovely,clean pool,sea view , apartment clean & tidy , comfy bed. What more could you want!

OMG When can i go back?

Well i was going to start this review saying how horrible the place was but that was so i would have plenty choices for me next visit.

All i can say is loved it!

I am already pricing flights to go back as it was all i could want for a wee cheeky week away.

What can you say for a place that is a 5 min walk from many many great places to eat and drink, Defo Busters for breakfast but we tried many different places for dinner as lunch was not really desired after breakfast. Taking a short walk to Rockys is also a must and as they say come hungry as portions are very good for prices, they normally have the early birds menu too which is a bit cheaper but portions are not much smaller.

Spent many an afternoon up on the solarium drinking some local cheap vodka (70cl bottle about £3.73) as the sun was soaring from about 12.30 onwards at the apartment.

Loving the fact that when relaxing at night i got to watch tv programs that were on at home to so not stuck with Spanish tv. Hottest october for a while so was in the late 20,s to 30.s the whole week.

Cant wait to go back looking now

Great communication from Jane and was great that you can get picked up from airport so no need to hire a car as all close and as no one was checking in straight after us and we had late flight we were allowed to use apartment till pick up time which again was very nice of Jane to allow that.

Fantastic Apartment, great location

Another great holiday here, lovely weather and friendly people within the complex.

The new Zenia Boulevard is a great addition to the place and well worth a visit, only a 10-15 min walk away nice restaurants, lots of shops and plenty to keep the kids amused.

Will be returning again - just love the place!
