Perfect cottage for a nice vacation

My family and I stayed at this house for two weeks. Our kids are in the age 9 to 15, two girls and one boy. The house is perfectly located if you want to explore Provence by car, and the location is exactly as shown on the map on this site. The highway is only 10 min. away at the city Cavaillon where you will find large supermarkets, shopping streets and many nice family-type local restaurants. Close by the house is the small city Mollégès – a wonderful small city with the best backer and butcher you can only dream of. The house you rent is one part of a twin house. Right next to it lives the owners. I would say they do their outmost to stay invisible so you can feel you have it all by yourself. Inside the house is very clean and very tasty modernized. It contains two bedrooms, a kitchen and a large living room. There is one bathroom and one toilet. Outside is a nice terrace with a large gas grill. The pool is located approx. 20 meters from the house. It is very nice and is quite large. It is facing the open fields and fruit trees with mountains in the background. The owner offers you fee access to several good mountain bikes I all sizes. Our kids used them a lot to go around in the fields and explore the area. The owners allowed us to use the vegetables and fruit we could find, which was a lot, and that was a great experience to send out your kids to find tomatoes, onions etc. before cooking. The owners are very friendly and trustful.

I can only think of one negative thing, which was the road that is behind the house. It is a smaller road with not that much traffic, but traffic is coming fast and quite noisy.

If you are looking for a place where you have 100% privacy with no disturbance at all this house does probably not fit perfectly. On the other hand, if you are looking for a house with all the other qualities this is offering you should definitely consider this house. We had a vacation we will never forget!

A wonderful country vacation place

We stayed here for two weeks to explore the sights of Provence. It turned out to be a perfect location. The cottage was exactly as in the listing, very clean and modern, although it actually exceeded the pictures and description. The farm location and scenery with the Alpines mountains in the background was spectacular. The cottage was very well equipped for comfortable living, from the well equipped kitchen, to the large living room with dining table and entertainment center, to the outdoor patio with dining table, sitting area and gas grill. After a day exploring Provence, coming 'home' to the pool in the afternoon was a real treat, especially as it warmed up during our stay. The owner and his lovely wife live next door and were always available to help, answer questions, and offered the cherry trees for our consumption. They are delightful people! Although we didn't know it, the cottage came with a dog. Boogie, the owner's black labrador, came over regularly to keep us company and welcome us home each day. What a personality she has! The cottage has it's own electric gate and safe parking next to the cottage which was very convenient. The lovely little village of Molleges was just down the street and had one of everything you need: a bakery, a fruit and vegetable store, a meat market, a wine store and a mini convenience store. One of the prettiest villages we have ever visited in France. The village also has two fine restaurants: Mas du Capoun (deserves 1 Michelin star) and Chez Ju. We would recommend this villa to anyone where two bedrooms would suffice. This is not only a great place to stay, it's also a great place to 'hang out' after exploring Provence for the day. We only regretted the day we had to leave.

Installation et environnement MAGNIFIQUES!!

Que dire de ce lieu parfait en tout point?! Le mas rénové avec soin et bon goût. L'éclairage extérieure en soirée est superbe. Les pièces communes sont très grandes; la lumière naturelle est abondante. Les lieux sont très propres. La piscine est grande à souhait. Les enfants s'y sont éclatés!! Un petit coup de cœur ( un énorme en fait!), le salon de jardin et sa table à manger. Nous y avons pris tous nos repas quelques pastis! Fabienne et Gérard, les voisins/propriétaires sont des hôtes charmants, attentionnés et discrets.

Je recommande cette location à tous qui désirent en plus être au cœur des plus beaux attraits de la Provence. J'y reviendrais sans aucune hésitation renouveler un 2 semaines de vacance idyllique.

Charmante propriété avec belles prestations

La piscine a été apprécié, la vue est magnifique, la literie est très sympa et les propriétaires

ont été à l'écoute de nos demandes. Seul bémol, il manque un jacuzzi et nous avons été

obligé de reprendre la route du travail.

Des vacances superbes

Nous avons passé un séjour extrêmement agréable.

Gérard et Fabienne ont équipé la maison parfaitement et avec beaucoup de goût. On avait une vue superbe sur le grand jardin avec des arbres fruitiers et –à quelque distance- sur les Alpilles. La piscine était très belle et propre. Les villes importantes et pittoresques comme Saint-Rémy-de-provence, Avignon, Arles, les Baux, Aix-en-Provence sont tout près.

Fabienne et Gérard (et leur chienne Boogie!) étaienent des propriétaires très chaleureux et sympathiques. Ils étaient discrets, mais toujours à disposition pour nous fournir des informations nécessaires.

Nous y avons passé de très belles vacances! Merci beaucoup pour tout!

Un véritable paradis !!!

Le gîte est superbe dans un cadre idyllique , la superbe piscine et le verger ont fait le bonheur des petits comme des grands !

Gérard et Fabienne (et Boogie :)) sont très accueillants, et aussi disponibles que discrets.

La région est idéale pour des vacances tranquilles ou actives !

A recommander sans hésiter, c'est avec grand plaisir que nous reviendrons l'année prochaine !!!
