We’ve stayed at Moonpie twice now, once in 2015 and once in 2016, and both times it has provided the perfect base for our holiday, and we’ll definitely return. The house is really attractive, so that staying there is part of your special holiday experience. It’s an incredibly easy, relaxing house to spend time in. It's really large and spacious and looks stunning, with interesting art work, but it’s also designed to be lived in and enjoyed. The main living and dining area has been designed for both comfort and practical usage, and as the other reviewers say, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The seating for the inside and outside dining areas is really comfortable and the outside deck is enclosed by mosquito nets, so although we enjoyed eating out at restaurants a few times we also loved relaxing on the raised deck area day time or evening, enjoying the breeze and the views. The local beach at the end of the road is great for a walk or a dip – the colour of the water is literally turquoise. In terms of exploring the island, you can make your visit as lazy or action packed as you wish – after two visits there are still lots of beaches for us to discover (either with snorkelling gear or a good book), and I defy you to bump into anyone else on any of those beaches! Thank you to Colin and Charlsie Anderson for an amazing stay.
