We love hiking the endless trail system at Whisper Mountain. Much of it follows Whisper Creek. We spend alot of time on the porches of this home.

Beautiful home with fantastic views
The house was beautiful and well furnished. Comfortable beds. Spent a lot of time on the back porch overlooking the mountain valley. Great place to relax and get away from it all. FYI.30-40 minutes to get to Asheville
Rest and Refreshment!
So thankful for this beautifully appointed home to spend time with family! The home is located at the top of Whisper Mountain, so it has the best view--morning, noon and evening. We enjoyed the porches most of all---lots of room to lounge, read, nap and dine. The kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances you might need from home to cook. We did venture out to find some local delicious bbq just up the road! Hiking Max Patch was on our bucket list as well--a convenient hike for the entire family! This home is well loved by its owners and well appreciated by this family that needed a sweet time away together to "re-charge" our batteries and fill up our "tanks"---SO THANKFUL! Bless you Ball family!
Incredible views, Incredible place,
Incredible friends, Incredible home design, Incredible outside accomodations, Incredible stars at night, Incredible time!! A new favorite! We will be back as had an absolute relaxing time and one to remember.
Mountain Top Serenity
This is a beautiful home that is very clean and very well maintained. Our family of 4 had a relaxing week and especially loved the outdoor patio/deck areas. There are a couple different seating areas and a table for eating outside which we enjoyed. Inside, we appreciated the large open concept kitchen, dining and living area with cool architectural touches such as the pulley type ceiling fan and granite mountain-shaped back splash. The furnishings and decorations were very eclectic, comfortable, and cozy with many different textures which complimented the beautiful wood floors. The kitchen, with granite counter tops was fun to cook in and was fully stocked with all we needed. Every bedroom also has a view, and the bathrooms were stocked with large plush towels. The sunrises were beautiful as were the sunset colors and fog that settled in the mountains each night. Fireflies lit up outside when it got dark too! We traveled to do whitewater rafting (30 minutes away in Marshall) and rented a boat on Lake Glenville (1 1/2 hour away) and spent some time in Asheville (35-40 minutes away). This home is really a nice spot of serenity at the top of a mountain. It is a bit of a drive to get there but it is a scenic one with with many old barns, farmland and rolling hills along the way. I recommend this quiet retreat to anyone looking for relaxation, luxury, and comfort!
Stunning View and Beautiful Cabin
This is a beautiful cabin in a great secluded, gated community. The views from the outside patio are stunning. The house has comfortable beds and the kitchen is fully stocked with just about everything you'll need to cook great meals. The property is about a 35 min drive to Asheville, but for the privacy and view it is completely worth the short drive.
We had a tremendous stay- House was gorgeous and just wonderful. We will be back!
Loved Asheville and hiking part of the Appalachian trail, soaking in hot springs & mostly waking up and enjoying coffee on the gorgeous deck of this home. Dinners cooked in the well stocked kitchen & nights spent hanging out around the fire pit—so many great memories made. Thank you!
