Pebble Beach View Vacation Rental & Guest House - This older oceanfront beach house (2 BR/2 BA) has been expanded in size from the original house to maximize the beautiful ocean views from living room, dining and master bedroom areas. Spacious master bedroom has plenty of closet space, a tiled shower, double sinks and dressing area. 2nd bedroom has a queen bed & a twin sofa sleeper (sofa sleeper is best for kids rather than adults). Living room has futons & older sofa sleeper (sofa sleeper is best for kids, rather than adults). Stairs to the beach are right out the front door! Pebble Beach offers the Pacific's most spectacular sunsets, plus a view of distant Point St. George Lighthouse out at sea. We think it's the most beautiful spot on Earth!-- Listen to sea lions and sea birds, plus take advantage of the free stress-reducing therapy offered by the sight and sound of the ocean waves!-- We've had many satisfied guests. This is our only rental place--it's the house we first bought and that we used to live in before our big family 'outgrew' it, but it's in too nice of a spot not to hold onto it! We're in love with the location!
Lori purchased this house in 1988
Like living in a national park setting every day!
This is an older home, but with a 'million-dollar view'!
Great Location! We had a family reunion here & it was wonderful. Every sunset was magical. The kids went crabbing at low tide. Major change of pace from Chicago! Thanks--
My husband and I stayed at Lori's home for four quiet and peaceful nights with great luck having had amazing weather. We had to arrive after dark and Lori had thankfully given us very thorough instructions on how to access the apartment upstairs. Perfect size for us with a spacious room, small kitchenette that had everything we needed to make tea and simple meals, ample hot water for showers. The beds were very comfortable- sheets looked and felt new as well fresh new towels -all made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. The view especially is not to be beat and the home is right across the steps to the beach- so easy to take a stroll in the morning while sipping our tea. A quick jaunt east to Jedediah Smith Park and we were hiking deep through the old growth redwoods- magnificent! We hope to be back in the near future. Thank you , Lori for sharing your lovely, cozy home.
This is a wonderful house for families and sleep-overs! Although there are only 2 bedrooms there are lots of extra beds to tuck away and sleep. The detached studio can be added if people in your party need extra privacy. The location is great with a beach entrance across the street from the house and a playground a quick drive away. The views from the house are amazing. Lori was super kind and accommodating. If you are a Foodie and plan on making special meals in the house I recommend bringing a box of cookware; utensils; and dishes. The kitchen is very sparingly appointed. We will stay again!
What a dump! I would give it no stars but that's not an option. The owner needs to spend some money and buy a new bed, furniture, sheets, blankets, towels, etc as the list is way to long. The bed was so old and hard, the blankets had holes in them and the towels look like ones you would use on your dog. We we first arrived we walked through the garage to the back porch area only to be met with the smell of sewer. I texted the owner about it but all she could say was that someone was on the way. Nobody ever came to fix it while we were there and the smell was bad! The only saving grace was that you couldn't smell it in the apartment. The only positive of this place was the view of the ocean.
The location is great, The owner was responsive and very nice.
Our family only stayed one night, the view and home left us wanting more. We will definitely be coming back.
Perfect location for the family. Great individual to work with in the home owner.
