About Greg Dean and Steve Sherry
Steve Sherry and Greg Dean That's us. 15 yrs partnered and recently tied the knot (thank you WV) We took pride in and Loved our little home for the last 15 yrs. 3 arduous years of restoration later and we're ready to share it with the world. We're lucky to live right next door in the Home we're NOW working to restore. While Steve commutes to work in Bethesda each day, Dean stays home doing K9 rescue. Our weekends are filled with friends and family often visiting. Recently we hosted the wedding of our oldest daughter.... ahh the memories. Pretty easy going and reasonable we'll strive to make your stay as wonderful as the last decade has been for us.
Greg Dean and Steve Sherry purchased this House in 2001
Why Greg Dean and Steve Sherry chose Harpers Ferry
Just like i believe there's someone for everyone, I also believe there's a place for everyone. Steve and Dean feel this village with it's Circa 1840 atmosphere is more than just home for them. In 2001, we met the most wonderful resident of Harpers Ferry, and then she sold us her home. 15 yrs later, we're still best friends with her.
What makes this House unique
Quaint and charming are two overused words, but they really do describe the B n B.

A place with character, wonderful location
We loved the old house, lovingly restored. The location was perfect for exploring Harper’s Ferry by foot, so many historic sites and wonderful trails. A perfect getaway for us.
Lovely house with stunning views. Great hiking options steps from the door. We visited on a mild weekend in January. Not many stores or restaurants were open but Harpers Ferry was still charming. We look forward to coming back and experiencing it other times of year. We would definitely stay here again.
A stay at the Bed n Biskit is never disappointing. We've visited all through the year, and experienced all kinds of weather and we always enjoy every minute of it. Harpers Ferry has much to explore, but it's also a perfect location for venturing to nearby historic and natural areas. Shepherdstown is only minutes away, Gettysburg is a very pleasant hour long drive. Whether you prefer hiking, rafting and biking, or antiquing, museums and shopping, there's an activity to satisfy everyone.
Dean and Steve are always attentive and considerate hosts. You'll leave their little home feeling like part of the family. And the feature that can't be duplicated anywhere else is the view! The Bed n Biskit definitely guarantees you the best view of the gap.
The steps and sloping terrain could be too difficult for anyone with physical challenges, and anyone who visits Harpers Ferry needs to be comfortable with train whistles! However, if you're looking for the perfect retreat, give this home a try.
My husband and I stay at the BedNBiskit often with our two small dogs. Dean and Steve are always perfect hosts no matter how busy they might be. Recently, I took my daughter and grandsons to enjoy a weekend in Harpers Ferry and the surrounding area. Dean made sure we had everything necessary for our comfort and we had a wonderful weekend. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the house and the town, and I'm sure we'll try to return soon.
Sweeping views and a super comfortable bed!
Wonderful house with great views of the mountains, the Potomac and Harpers Ferry. My dog and I will be back!
We had an amazing time during our visit to Harpers Ferry. The views from the porch are great for a cup of coffee in the morning or an evening glass of wine. There is so much to do and see in the area. We spent our days hiking, wine tasting, white water rafting and soaking up the view for this incredible spot. We hope to make it back someday soon. I imagine the fall is breathtaking!
Must Love Trains!!!
Amtrak, MARC and MANY CSX trains travel thru Harpers Ferry.
They do this at all hours of the day and night. While some may find the train noise disturbing, many find it relaxing and a joy.
We're hoping our guests are the latter.
