My family and I stayed in Villa Capri for two weeks in September 2019. We anticipated greatness—after reading prior reviews and seeing the photos—AND wow!, the reality of being there surpassed our expectations. Beautiful villa, exceptional views, and just the right distance between the town hub and the beach. Fede and Alessandra were accessible and always helpful. It was a joy to wake up there each morning and so comfortable to come home to at night. What a haven! Mille Grazie ❤️
You have been really excellent guests! It was really a pleasure to meet you and your beautiful family .
You'll be always welcome to Villa Capri
location and service!
We knew the house was going to be amazing, but the service from Fede and Tiziana really put things over the top. So kind, so informative, and just plain nice. We had an amazing stay and hope to come back again!
Perfect private oasis to explore Capri
The views from the villa are absolutely stunning. We had a private and quiet oasis to view the sea and incredible yachts. It was a short walk to the local grocery store and town. Very clean, quiet, all the modern conveniences you could ask for. We loved the outdoor sitting area where we could play cards, talk and bask in the beautiful warm air. A great find!
We had been waiting for many years to take our family to Capri as my husband’s family is from this beautiful island. We were so fortunate to be able to enjoy this beautiful villa as we explored the island and reconnected with his family. Your home was the perfect location for our family of five as it provided the most stunning views possible on the island! The location was perfect for access to the center of Capri and to the beach at Marina Piccolo and attention was given to making sure all went well with our arrival and departure. We look forward to returning in years to come! Grazie, Federico!
Thanks for your beautiful words!
We'll be happy to welcome you again in our corner of Paradise!!
Villa Capri is a beautiful home in a convenient location near the Piazzetta and easy to get to several beach clubs. Fede and Titziana are very helpful and responsive.
Wish we could live in Capri!
The views of the Marina Piccola, and the Faraglioni are stunning, the the architecture of the villa is enchanting, the gardens are lush and fragrant, the jacuzzi deck is relaxing, the furnishings, inviting, the people we met, warm and vibrant....why did we leave???
My family loved our stay at we had the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. We walked everywhere and rewarded ourselves with gelato, cappuccino, wine, and pasta.
Federico and Tiziana were so helpful with any questions/ taxi service/ restaurant recommendations, we felt very pampered!
During our stay, I accidentally damaged a window sash pull and they organized for it to be fixed the same day by their kind housekeeper/gardener, Lalit. Thanks again!
We hope to return again to stay in your beautiful villa.
Thanks so much for the beautiful words that you have written!
Also you and your family have been perfect guests! We really hope to have you again in our little Paradise
Capri is an island in the Gulf of Naples, situated in front of the Sorrento peninsula, luxuriant, extraordinary, mild climate.
Limestone, Capri is a Mediterranean island that has seen time in transit intellectuals, artists and writers, all enthralled by its magical beauty.
A mix of history, nature, worldliness, culture, events, who meet here every day and that gave rise to the myth of Capri, a legend unparalleled in the world.
The island is, unlike the nearby Ischia and Procida, of karstic origin. Initially he had joined the Sorrento Peninsula, unless subsequently be submerged by the sea and then separated from the mainland, where today is the strait of Bocca Piccola. Capri has a complex morphological structure, with peaks of medium height (Monte Solaro Monte Tiberio 589 m and 334 m) and vast interior highlands, including the main one is called the "Anacapri".
The coast is indented with numerous coves and bays that alternate with steep cliffs. The caves, hidden beneath the cliffs, were used in Roman times as nymphs of the sumptuous villas that were built here during the Empire. The most famous is undoubtedly the Blue Grotto, where magical light effects were described by many writers and poets.
Characteristic of Capri are the famous Faraglioni, three small rocky islets just off the shore, creating a dramatic effect and landscape; to them they were also assigned names to distinguish them: Stella is attached to the mainland, Stack di Mezzo for that interposed the other two and Faraglione Out (or Scopolo) to the farthest island.
The island contains many plant and animal species, some endemic and rare, such as the blue lizard, which lives on one of the three Faraglioni. The vegetation is typically Mediterranean, with a prevalence of agave, prickly pears and gorse.
The main population centers of the island are Capri, Anacapri, Marina Grande and the other sea side of Capri, Marina Piccola, is less inhabited and even more subject to the speculation phenomenon that has affected the whole island from the early eighties to today.
Capri center of life is the famous Piazzetta. Actually it's called Piazza Umberto I, the '30s, however, it was called the square, the tiny island as a center of social life, so as to deserve the nickname of "the world's Lounge". It has always been the center of life in Capri, but at one time was simply the square of the fish market.
It can be reached from the terrace of the funicular which offers a picturesque view. The tables of the four bars, all very famous, which overlook the square are the décor, and the curtain of palaces, all remodeled in the seventeenth century, is the set design. The Palazzo Cerio, a construction of the Angevin period, from the second half of 1300. Next to the Clock Tower, actually originally bell tower of St. Stephen's Cathedral, inside which were re-used for the flooring material is of the Villa Jovis of Tiberius.
