About Alex Hansen
I grew up in a family that rented properties and love providing people a great place to stay. I bought my first Duplex in 1994 and haven't looked back. I only purchase quality houses in great neighborhoods. Rest assured that you will enjoy staying here.
Alex Hansen purchased this Apartment in 1994
Why Alex Hansen chose Lowry Hill
I love to cook and entertain and lived in this apartment for many years before listing it as a vacation rental. I love the high end finishes and quality furnishings. It has been completely renovated and ready for you to enjoy!
What makes this Apartment unique
The unit has a very private back yard, yet is only one mile from the Minneapolis Convention Center and both Downtown and Uptown.

Great place in great location!
We loved staying at this place. It was clean, spacious and the host was great to communicate with.
Great Neighborhood Location. Beautiful Views.
This property is lovely. Because I have a dog, I needed an early check-in. Alex was super accomodating. There was one small issue and Alex had someone there quickly to handle it. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room looking out into the treetops created such a lovely place to snuggle up on the couch with a cup of coffee in the morning. Walking trail across the street with lots of dog owners walking their dogs. Really enjoyed walking my dog each day. Only a short walk to the Walker Art Museum. The only issue is you have to be aware this property backs up to a hill and there is some steep steps to get to the front door. So probably not the best property for anyone that may have trouble climbing those stairs. The house itself is lovely once you get up those stairs
The property was in a nice location. The owner is responsive and allowed an early check in which was appreciated. The property however was not clean. I’m not sure when it was last occupied, but it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned. The occupant upstairs walks back and forth at all hours and it’s extremely loud. The thermostat apparently controls the entire home. The owner came in when we had left and locked the temperature at 70 degrees and we could not adjust based on comfort level. 70 degrees to sleep at night is too warm. We roasted. Maybe a note near the thermostat would be appropriate while still allowing guests to adjust temperature to their comfort. Overall it was okay. More attention to cleaning is definitely needed.
March in Minneapolis
Great place. Worked wonderfully for my needs including my Bernese mountain dog. Great location for walking.
Walkable and close to downtown
Four and a half stars. A nice place in a walkable, pleasant part of the city. Comfortable beds, good WiFi, attractive kitchen with new appliances. We would definitely stay again.
Wonderpil stay in upscale neighborhood
We stayed for a week in this great house. We loved the kitchen, the appliances, the spacious living/dining room, the great beds.
There is a wonderful fireplace, for cozy evenings around the fire.
The neighborhood is very nice, and close to the highway system, whilst also being in walking distance of the famous sculpture garden and the downtown area.
Please bring your own kitchen towels, these are not available. Also the neighbors upstairs have a different rhythm of life... you can hear them more than once.
All in all: great stay and we would definitely come back.
Thanks for the great review! We will be sure to add kitchen towels to our standard rental to augment the kitchen paper towels that already come with the unit.
he house is located in the Kenwood neighborhood, one of the most exclusive areas of Minneapolis and a few blocks from the Minneapolis Sculpture garden and Walker Art Center, and downtown Minneapolis. Also conveniently between Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles and Lake Calhoun with many walking/biking trails. Close to Downtown, Uptown, and U of M and 1 block from the bus lines or $8 cab ride.
