This spacious, sunny, 3 storey corner house is attractively furnished and located only 10 minutes drive from Murcia MJV Airport (not on the flight path) or 40 minutes by motorway from Alicante Airport. The accommodation consists of :-

Outside: There is a large front patio with table & chairs, ideal for” al fresco” dining: (there are 2 sun shades in the garage) and a front porch. An internal patio, also with table & chairs is at the rear. On the ground floor: A large light & airy lounge/TV area with two sofas & a dining area, a separate fully equipped kitchen with French windows leading to an interior patio with table & chairs also a complete family bathroom and the laundry area with washing machine. Ground floor has one single bedroom which is a new addition, ideal for any one who can't get on with stairs. The 1st floor has a spacious double bedroom with balcony & a king size bed complete with a fully appointed bathroom. Also two double bedrooms with two single beds installed. On the 2cnd floor: One very large and airy room with twin beds, windows on three sides a balcony and sitting area with sofa bed + ensuite shower/WC.

There are numerous golf courses, including 4 of international standard within a 15/30 minutes drive away.

There is also an open air market at San Javier on Thursday, our personal favourite is at San Pedro on Monday but is about 5/10 minutes drive away. Lo Pagan has an active nightlife with a wide variety of discos & bars, plus there are some rather yummy cake shops opposite the large open area, where they sometimes have a fairground (at weekends or during local fiestas) in front of the port.

N.B. Note Re Rental Rates:- Although the house is capable of sleeping upto 10 people, I often stay there on my own or with a friend and so have decided that 4 people or under can have a special rate. Please phone 0208 740 5353 or 07957 677763 to negotiate rates for 4 or less people (also couples) thanks.

Terms and conditions: A Non-refundable £100 deposit is required to secure the booking, balance is payable 6 weeks prior to departure. If departure is within 6 weeks then full payment is required at the time of booking. Rates are weekly during the peak season. Off peak extended rentals are subject to negotiation. (Not July or August). A refundable security deposit of a £100 is required at the time of booking and this is refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the property, within two weeks after your return. In consideration of other residents no arrivals please between 11.30pm &10am. A cleaning & laundry charge of 80 Euros is payable locally on arrival. Towels & bed linen are provided but please bring beach towels. If you would like a grocery starter pack (paid for on arrival) please let us know. In consideration for future guests smoking is only permitted outside on the terraces. Airport pickups can be arranged when making a booking, if required.

Beautiful house

We have recently returned from a very relaxing week. There were four of us, two in our 40's and two in their 70's.

The house was beautiful and had everything that you could have needed, and the outdoor areas were stunning. The front patio is a sun trap with comfortable sun lounges, and the internal patio gives that 'away from it all' feeling.

Doerta was there to welcome us and we felt that we could have called on her if we had needed to.

We didn't hire a car and the beach and restaurants were easily within walking distance (taxis were easy to order by phone too) and the beaches were fantastic.Dos Mares shopping centre is just along the road.

Diane provided very detailed information which was a lovely touch and it made the holiday feel very comfortable and a home from home.

I would highly recommend this house and would love to return.

the house was well maintained and very clean,every thing that was said about the property was correct,the only thing that what would have made it more comfortable would have been air conditioning,but there was plenty of fans which was most welcome,the lady across the road was very helpful and very friendly.The beach was clean and the water was fantastic,plenty of places to eat, and to have a drink.We would go again with out doubt. Thank you Diane.

We have just enjoyed a great two weeks at this property. There were eight people in our party, ranging in age from 2 to 72 and it was suitable for us all. We found the property clean and well prepared and were greeted and shown around the property on our arrival by Spanish neighbours who we knew were on hand should should we have encountered any problems (which we didn't!). The description of this property probably doesn't do it justice, it is a lovely house, with a good size patio area in a pleasant area. A car is handy, but it is so convenient for Murcia airport, without being in the flight path. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Hello Diane

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed your gorgeous home in Santiago de la Ribera (Murcia). the house is situated in a great location

for beach: shopping & restaurants etc. & is bright, comfortable & well equipped.

Another plus is that the neighbors, Doerta, Ana & Cristobal were so kind & helpful.

We had a brilliant holiday & will definitely contact you in the future to book your property again & would happily recommend it to anyone especially families. Best wishes Aileen, Paul & the boys

The property is situated in a friendly residential area & is approx. 15 minutes walk from the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor or 3 / 5 minutes max by car or bike. The Mar Menor sea is a saltwater lagoon, often likened to a natural swimming pool & is several degrees warmer than the adjoining Mediterranean. It is very calm & gets deep gradually, making it fine for children. The beaches run for 4 miles from La Ribera to Lo Pagan.

The nearby “Dos Mares” is a bustling shopping mall with many shops & eating places or bars of all descriptions. It also contains “Eroski” supermarket and a Cinema complex. Dos Mares is10 minutes walk away (less than 5 min by car). The two local resorts of Santiago de la Ribera (known as ”La Ribera” locally) and Lo Pagan have a great variety of Spanish & international restaurants, fish restaurants & tapas bars are in abundance.

There are open-air markets on most days, selling leather goods & fresh produce. Local markets - La Ribera Wednesday & Lo Pagan Thursday

Golf: There are numerous golf courses, including 4 of international standard within a 15/30 minutes drive away.

Notes:
There is now full English TV. downstairs in the lounge plus a second TV on the top floor. We have recently added a new oven. There is a 2nd patio off the kitchen for outside breakfasting etc. Travel cot; High chair & Stair gate available if needed. NB - Departure: On departure we expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition with no dirty dishes left in sink & in rare cases, if the house is left in an unusually dirty state which would entail excessive /extra cleaning then a charge would be taken from your security deposit.
