About Sue & Michelle Baker
We have lived here in the village for many years and first purchased the main house in 1998: the house just happened to have a pair of derelict fisherman's cottages in the garden. Over the years we have managed to get it knocked into one, and refurbished, added plumbing etc until it became a very pretty and habitable small cottage. In the main house now live Sue, daughter Michelle, and two granddaughters Acacia and Amelia, along with our much loved Tibetan Terriers. So, we are here if you need anything, or forgot to bring anything, but we appreciate that you are probably coming for a peaceful break and we will appreciate your privacy! The cottage faces south and looks over a fence into our garden that is usually filled with lovely colourful flowers. From spring through to October you will often find one of us out in the garden, weeding, mowing, or being lazy and enjoying the sun.
Sue & Michelle Baker purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Sue & Michelle Baker chose Llanfairfechan
Look at the reviews left in our visitors book, and you will see certain comments over and over - cosy, warm, fabulous location, friendly people, beautiful little cottage. This area is amazing - and this cottage is smack bang in the middle of it. Peaceful, but so easy to explore from.
What makes this Cottage unique
Our little cottage is literally a few seconds walk from the Promenade and beach. The walk from the cottage to the seafront and then along the seafront path by the sea wall is all flat and even - I regularly go out there using a mobility scooter to enjoy the sunset or the view across to Anglesey and Puffin Island. The location here can't be beaten! Inside the cottage itself is a unique feature, a stone faced area on the wall : we think that our cottage is the oldest inhabited building in our village. It's built of local stone and has very thick walls.

Perfect Little Cottage
Beautiful, well equipped little cottage, in a quiet location. The beach is right on your doorstep, our dog loved running along the sand. Village has all the amenities you need and is close to the main routes through North Wales. The owners were lovely and we would definitely like to visit again.
Cosy cottage, great base for exploring
Loved this cottage, made us and the dog feel so welcome. Everything you need for a chilled out getaway. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
Lovely cottage in an ideal location.
Quaint and comfortable cottage with everything you need and very reasonably priced too. Michelle met us on arrival and made such a fuss of our Welsh Springer Spaniel! Cottage is absolutely dog friendly but we always take our own quilt and throws to protect the furniture and bed in case he jumps up. Location is perfect for sightseeing with Anglesey and Llandudno within a 15/20 minute drive either way. Visit Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey if you enjoy a walk on the beach - perfect. The promenade is lovely for a walk and is literally across the road. A short walk up into the town and you'll find a few food outlets, the Indian takeaway was spot on! There are 3 pubs, all allow dogs and make them very welcome. Would definitely recommend.
Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to review our cottage. We loved having you all here and it's so nice that you think our area is lovely - we do too! We would love to see you again sometime.

We are literally a few seconds walk from a lovely sandy beach, and further down the beach path you reach salt marshes that are famous for hosting unusual birds. A lovely little seaside village, we have a Spar/Co-op, an ATM, an award winning butcher, a Chinese take-away, Indian take-away, fish 'n chip shop, handful of pubs, some serving food. We are only 15 mins drive from resorts such as Llandudno (shopping, fishing, beach, ski slope), and Conwy (shopping, harbour, lovely Italian restaurant) and a 20 minute drive along the A55 will put you onto the lovely Island of Anglesey, or up into beautiful Betws y Coed & Swallow Falls, Llanberis (Mountain Railway).. loads of fabulous places to explore.
