About the property

Ideally situated within 500 metres of the centre of Beverley, and close to the Beverley Westwood, this is a terraced house located in an exclusive Victorian area. Two double bedded rooms upstairs (with an option to add a single bed to one of the rooms).

A house with character and charm, clean and cosy, it is convenient for Beverley's many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Also close to the picturesque Beverley Westwood, a wide expanse of common land for walking and for exercising dogs.

The cosy dining room, next to the galley kitchen, has a log burner and table for 4 people. The lounge has two sofas and a flat screen TV. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with electric shower. Outside at the rear is a sunny, enclosed garden with table and chairs.

The let includes all the kitchen equipment, towels, sheets, coffee/tea and WIFI.

This is a pretty, late 19th century, property and does have a typical fairly steep Victorian staircase without handrail. This may make it unsuitable for those with a movement disability and young children, especially since the bathroom is downstairs.

If you let me know in advance what else you would like, then I am sure I can provide it.

As this is the Victorian area of Beverley it has only on street parking which is free after 6pm. In an evening spaces can be at a premium, so guests may have to park in neighbouring streets. Daytime parking is easier, however it is time controlled for non-residents. I can provide a temporary resident permit for unlimited daytime parking for an extra £5.

I'm a nature lover and enjoy gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables so have a small greenhouse in my backyard garden as well as an allotment a few metres from my property. I have a health business and support people diagnosed with cancer too. love to travel and explore country houses and gardens and love to be creative, painting, and making crafts.

Located in a quiet yet centrally positioned pretty part of this popular town. i have fond memories as a child visiting Beverley and decided to make it my home town. The Beverley people are friendly and there is always lots of community projects one can engage in if desired.

Like staying in your own brilliant little boutique hotel!

The house is a little gem and perfect for a visit. Well equipped and in a great location. We'd certainly plan to stay again if we were in the area. Beverley is a beautiful town and ideally suited for exploring the East Riding and visiting Hull.

Warm and cozy

Perfect for are needs very convenient for access to Beverley town centre, a little frustrating with the parking but managed to find spaces eventually.

Owner was very helpful with any issues and our needs where fulfilled.

Looking forward to visiting Beverley again in the future.

House and location are excellent

This was the best place to stay in Beverley. We could easily walk anywhere and since we were travelling to Hull for culture, we hopped on a bus within 8 minutes of closing the front door. The house was well furnished and very comfortable- we all though the beds were extremely comfortable. No microwave or dishwasher wasn't a problem. The owner was generous and there was milk, bread,coffee and tea available when we arrived.

The location is pretty close to perfection in Beverley if you like to be central to the town yet enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful green common called the Westwood which is a 2 minute walk up the lane. Everyone that stays comment on the beds thankyou! the kitchen is small and compact but very workable when preparing food and visitors do go out allot so washing has been minimised role mostly. I like to have essentials on arrival (drinks, fruit and basic breakfast ingredients) and if there is anything specific required will do my best to provide. I haven't considered a microwave because for personal reasons I have done research regarding the effects on food radiation.. and impacts on health. I am very grateful for your time to comment.

A truly beautiful house in a surprisingly pretty little town

Beverley is one of those places where everything is a bit (or a lot) nicer than you have any right to expect. This house is a great example of this - set on a gorgeous, quiet street only a couple minutes walk from the lively town centre but completely peaceful, the house its self is a real revelation. Really big inside (feels a bit tardis like), beautifully done throughout, dead cozy, comfy family home it was a real joy to stay in. A real gem, thanks so much would really love to stay again and strongly urge anyone else to do so. Photos do not really capture it but this place is a real find. Thanks a lot.

Warm welcome in tranquil house

This well-maintained small house is in an excellent position in the lovely market town of Beverley, within walking distance of amentities. It's a quiet location and the rooms are peaceful and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and bathroom are more basic but everything works well. We were given a very warm welcome and hope to stay again. The host made everything clear before arrival and had a useful book with all the details of the property.
