We stayed in the apartment for a week in September 2016. Mr. Ometto was very easy to communicate with. Everything in the apartment was as pictured and described. The neighborhood is well located, safe and quiet.
The bed is very comfortable. The shutters allow you to make the bedroom very dark and quiet. It was very hot (34 - 36 C) when we visited and the air conditioning was fabulous. The tram is just outside the door and is very easy to use to get to the train station. You do have to go up 2 floors. I had a knee replacement 3 months before we visited and still had no problems with the stairs. The kitchen is well supplied with utensils. We rented an apartment so we could go to the market and cook. We were a little disappointed with the fish market but the apartment had most of the utensils you would need to cook. Everything is in good condition. I would highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days end of April 2015. We couldn't have picked a better location or property. It is literally 2 minutes from the largest park in Padua where many farmers, food and clothing markets were held during our stay. Great access to Venice, Valpolicella region( we went for wine tasting). Large apartment can fit 2 and and extra couple in the livingroom pullout bed if need. Huge bathroom, closests, quiet. AC. Many thanks to Walter Ometto for this great place.
We stayed in this apartment when we visited Italy. It was very clean and roomy and everything is as pictured and described. Location was near the tram and bus stops. Also near the open market in the large park. The owner was very helpful and answered all our emails promptly. We took day trips to Venice, Rome and Verona. We enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment in Padova. The location is excellent - tram stop and bus stop right outside, local shops in walking distance - all the sites - churches, the Scroveni chapel, piazzas - all easy to get to. The train station is right on the tram line so a day trip to Venice is very easy - less than 30 minutes! The apartment has a beautiful kitchen, large bathroom and amazing bedroom and walk in closet - huge even by North American standards. If we ever get the chance to visit Padova again we will definitely try to stay here. The owner was a joy to work with!!
We were extremely impressed with the apartment. It was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and well-appointed and maintained. All the facilities were excellent and the location just below the spectacular Prato della Valle was ideal. There are more restaurants, bars etc than you can begin to imagine and Padua is lovely - enormous numbers of beautiful buildings, great shopping and interesting markets (especially in Prato della Valle). Padua can involve a lot of walking, but the tram stop virtually outside the apartment building is a real boon if you want to give your legs a rest, particularly for going to the rail station at the opposite end of the town centre and various points in-between (1.30 euro per journey - v. reasonable). We were met by the owner, Walter, who was charming and very helpful. In summary, we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family or friends - or to anyone considering a trip to Padua.
