This 140 m² villa with swimming pool and 330 m² of terraces/verandas is placed on a 2130 m² plot bordering a shallow lake next to the Glyfada Beach. Distance from villa to lake is 50 m and further 80 m across the lake to the beach.
This is a detached house registered by the National Tourist Organisation under license MHTE 1174K91001036801.
The villa is fully air-conditioned and has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one of which has a whirlpool bathtub. Furthermore there are 2 living rooms; one with a fireplace and access to the main terrace surrounding the villa and one to the veranda, both have a panoramic 270º view. In addition, there is a roof terrace with magnificent 360º views.
The fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances includes an American refrigerator/freezer with an ice cube machine so you can enjoy a long-drink in the evening on the terrace watching the sunset.
Terraces has ample outside sitting places with 3 pergolas and both charcoal and gas barbecue are available. The kitchen also has an outdoor dining table built with marble and placed in between cozy natural marble walls.
I am a Norwegian who built this home as a family project (wife and 14 year old son) for the future. I temporarily rent out part of season - so I can share our familiy dream with others.
Steinar purchased this villa in 2006
This property is siutated with property going to the water with no road between property and waterline. A shallow lake seperates villa from sea - that makes both villa more private and beach more secluded for other tourists.
Endless beaches that are not yet does not have that many tourists makes this a paradise. Later we have expanded the terrace and built private swimming pool. Next to sea - and at the same time large swimming pool and panoramic view.
We stayed at Steinar's home in the summer of 2015 and loved it. The solitute and direct beach access with a pool at the water front was great. It's first a lagoon in front of you and then the beach but the description provided is accurate. For kiting it's the ultimate. Walk right onto the kite beach (nobody but maybe 5 kiters at this spot). Down in Naxos beach is where you'll have 80 kiters and the schools. Easy to get to though by car or quad (if you rent one). Great little restaurants arounds Naxos to enjoy. Pool and deck are clean as well as house. Enjoyed late nights on the open terrace gazing at the stars and "feeling" the Greek life. If you're a kiter with kids (who kite or not), this is the place for all to relax. Go shopping, buy food at the grocery store. Kite in the morning, have lunch, kite after a snooze....That's a vacation!
Thanks Steinar from Switzerland!
The house is comfortable, very clean and well-equipped, but the real joy of Villa Bella is the outside space. The patio is a wide open terrace with a good pool, plenty of shade and lovely views. A little wooden gate leads from the patio directly down to the beach. The beach, even in August, was practically deserted and completely undeveloped. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets over Paros each evening.
There is plenty to discover on Naxos. We travelled around the island quite a bit and visited some remote villages. We enjoyed the museums in the main town. We had a fantastic day sailing on a catamaran around some of the smaller islands.
We did some windsurfing at Kastraki Beach - but some days it was just too windy, so we did not do as much as we had hoped.
The shop/cafe is only five minutes' walk away and stocked a good supply of fresh fruit and vegetables, and freshly-baked bread.
There a plenty of tavernas and small restaurants along the coast and inland. Most of the other holidaymakers were Greek and Naxos feels totally unspoiled by mass tourism.
We had excellent communication with the owner and with his agent on Naxos. Very professional.
I would highly recommend Villa Bella.
We stayed, with our 2 daughters, friends and grandson (3 month's) and had a perfect holiday, it is a one minute stroll to the beach, the villa is very well furnished and there are (at least) 3 terrasses and a (clean!) and nice pool to play and swim.
Enough nice restaurants near by (but you need a rental car). We windsurfed a lot, drank to much and had a wonderful family holiday. For us there were no minor points!
Everything (description, cleaness, Service, etc.) was and is perfect. Calmness, no crowdy, Naxos is the last Island in Greece without mass Tourismus. Perfect for individually travellers.
Please a new matress in the master bedroom upstairs- Villa Bella deserves 7 stars!!!!!
We come back - garanteed!
We were two familys staying in wonderful Villa Bella in mid October 2012.
The villa was beautiful and
spacious and had everything you needed. The quite location overlooking the beach with the most fantastisc sunsets was stunning.
The outside terrace area with a great pool was also much enjoyed.
Both Steinar the owner and the local guide were really helpful with everything and we got some good recommendations about what to do on this wonderfuld island. Most restaurants were closed but there were two very good local tavernas nearby. A wonderful place which we would like to return to.
I stayed at the Villa Bella in Naxos in August 2012 and was very pleased. My family and I enjoyed the villa, the swimming pool, the beach, and the sweetness of life in the Greek Islands. The best part of our stay was probably when we took a boat and went on a trip to Santorini. The villa itself is quite pleasant, nicely furnished and very well located. It was a pleasure to be able to go to the beach on foot. Inside, it was cool and comfortable. Outside, the swimming pool and the chairs were very pleasant, and we enjoyed waking up early to watch the see from the terrace. The only inconvenient was the houses under construction next to the villa, but I think they will be completed before the spring of 2013, so it should not be an issue. Overall, I strongly recommend this villa.
The villa is located by Glyfada Beach, about 17 km from Naxos town and 15 km to the airport. Grocery shop is about 50 meter from the villa and there are 4 restuarants in walking distance (under 1 km).
In this area there are mostly open landscape and beaches, yet not any large hotels. Several local cafes and restaurants make it a quiet vacation place for families.
Villa Bella is situated on the beach of a shallow (0-30 cm deep) lake which has warmer water than normal sea water. In the high season parts of the lake are dry so you can walk across to the main Glyfada Beach with dry feet. In the remaining part of the year you can easily cross the lake (80 m) by wading or walk around (400 m).
Glydafa Beach is famous for windsurfing and especially kite surfing due to perfect wind and sufficient distance to the airport.
Naxos is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece and offers a mix of easily accessible superior sand beaches, a landscape of lush valleys, picturesque villages, churches, towers and monuments. It is a very fertile island, and has supported itself independently throughout history by agriculture.
The island is not dependent on tourism and retains its essential character. Naxos is an island known for the warm northern afternoon wind called Meltemi that makes the island a surfers paradise.
