Excellent. Close to everything. Comfortable and we’ll equipped.
The apartment is on the second floor in a private walled courtyard and is great. It has one bedroom and an extra room with a couch that we, as one couple, used as a changing room. We had a car and there was no private parking which is common. Public parking was one block away and often crowded. There were other public parking lots a few more blocks away. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom had a heater which I appreciated. The living room had a table where we ate. Also there was a lovely porch with a table where we also ate. It was quiet. Everything worked. No problems. The location is a pleasant walk into town of 5 to 10 minutes, depending on where you are going.
Perfect holiday home
We spent three great weeks at the Mansion. It was a perfect base for our biking holiday. The apartment was comfortable and roomy. Didier and Dianne were wonderful hosts. L'Isle sur la Sorgue is a lively town. We could not ask for more.
Charming & comfortable
This Gite is a pleasure. Everything works well and is fully equipped. Really an enjoyable place to stay and provides easy access both to the town and surrounding country. Recommended. Brendan & Barbara Carruthers, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Bonne vacances et bon retour au Canada.
spacious, well appointed in heart of town
My wife and I spent a terrific week at La Bignone in L'Isle sur la Sorgue, which is a great base for visiting the Vaucluse with its many restaurants, canals, and market days. Didier is wonderful host, very responsive and helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to visit--even printing train tickets for us. We loved the little outdoor area shaded by a flowering bignone--a good place to sit and enjoy wine, cheese, and saucisson after a busy day sightseeing. The apartment is very clean and had all we needed for our week's stay. Free public parking is available a short distance away. The apartment is located in a quiet part of town, but a very short walk from all the shops and restaurants. Thanks Didier! my apologies for taking so long to post this review!
Wonderful place to stay!
We had an incredible time in L'isle-sur-la-Sorge! The apartment was great. Excellent location with easy (and FREE) parking right across the street. We had a wonderful view of the river and ate every meal out on the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was huge. We stayed there with our 11 month old daughter and found it very kid-friendly. Didier provided us with all the baby essentials we needed (pack and play, towels, utensils, toys). There are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The market on Sunday was awesome. The apartment and town exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return!
Wonderful home base for our stay in Provence
This property is in a perfect location for a stay in Provence. The apartment is very spacious, including a large bathroom which was much appreciated by me and my daughter! Although we did not cook, the kitchen looked to have everything you would need if you were cooking. We were not able to use the outside terrace as the weather was cool while we were there. Everything was in working order, the parking was just across the street, and a short stroll down the side road took you to all of the fabulous shops and restaurants that L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue has to offer. The Sunday Market is not to be missed! We love the view of the river out of the bedroom window. All in all a perfect location. Didier, the owner, was very pleasant to work with. He met us on time coming and leaving and checked in a couple of times to make sure all was well during our stay. He was a perfect host! This is a perfect place to spend your time as you explore the treasures of Provence!
Merci pour votre appréciation, nous espérons que notre accueil vous à donner 'envie de revenir en Provence .
