THIS PEACEFUL, SECLUDED AND VERY LARGE VILLA SITS WITHIN A PRIVATE COMMUNITY, AT THE TOP OF A HILL WITH COMMANDING VIEWS OF THE NEARBY PIC ST LOUP AND UNSPOILT COUNTRYSIDE HORIZON. THE PROPERTY BENEFITS FROM 6 BEDROOMS, ITS OWN PRIVATE PARK AND A LARGE HEATED SWIMMING POOL. THE PROPERTY HAS BEEN ENTIRELY RENOVATED IN 2015.

First built as a collection of holiday homes, Mas de Bouis retains its reputation amongst locals as a privileged residential location. Dense surrounding trees give the impression of living within a forest, whilst the 300m height ensure unforgettable views of the surrounding vistas.

The property is a large, gated modern 6 bedroom villa with over 240 m2 of habitable space, layed out over one floor. This layout proves ideal for families sharing, since the central salon and kitchen areas lead out to separate wings where the bedrooms are located. This creates independence whilst holidaying together.

The double height ceilings ensure that the property remains cool despite the high outside temperatures and almost guaranteed summer sun. Whilst the property has partial air conditioning, the layout makes its use seem unnecessary.

The large 11x5 metre heated pool is a rectangular configuration with roman steps. It has a shallow end which is ideal for small children. The pool benefits from an electric security cover and the latest generation pool heat pump ensures that the water temperature is always perfect, even first thing in the morning or after an occasional cloudy day. The pool has underwater lighting so that the party can continue well into the night! The pool has a tiled surround and ample deck chairs for sun worshippers. Near the main pool entrance, there is a large iron framed, covered canopy area, with enough space to sit poolside and read, chat or snooze. An outdoor solar powered shower, boulodrome and a summer kitchen area complete a wonderful holiday space.

The property boasts its own private park, occupying 3,400 m2 and allowing for a gentle stroll after lunch, with several rest points along the way. Tree lights can be switched on at night to create a magical environment under a star filled sky.

To the front of the property, there are tree covered areas boasting wonderful children's activities such as a wooden activity centre, swings, slides, wooden tree house and a large trampoline.

Within a few metres of the property, you are immersed in the Cevennes' Garrigue, with its powerful scents of thyme, lavender, sage and rosemary. Here you are might only ever cross the occasional goat herdsman or farmer and because of this Villa's privileged high position, you'll have arresting panoramas and views for hundreds of kilometres.

The 11th Century village of Saint Martin de Londres is within a 10 minute walk or a short car ride and offers a variety of local produce from its small supermarket, restaurants, bars, clothing and gift shops. There is an award winning Boulangerie with a mouth-watering daily collection of patisseries. However, don't be surprise that once you are installed in the Mas de Bouis you find it hard to leave.

quiet and enjoyable place

We've had an excellent weekend in a comfortable vast house with pleasant bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen.The children had a lot of fun in the swimming-pool and we appreciated the terrace with the barbecue for our 14 people meals.

The owner and his local assistant were very friendly,helpful and efficient.

Great villa in a lovely setting

Very much enjoyed our stay at the villa. It is in a lovely natural setting, with some amazing views. About a 5min drive to the local village and 30mins to Montpellier which has some great attractions. We were a party of 8 adults and 7 young kids and had enough space including a great pool which the kids loved.

Beautiful location - views to die for!

The private estate is so beautiful and quiet. Views from the lovely, spacious, well appointed villa are amazing. Pool is great, and gardens are spacious with plenty of outdoor seating. Owner and concierge are both very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Area is beautiful and interesting. Guilheim Le Desert is well worth a visit, as is the tree top adventure park nearby.

Superbe maison idéale pour grandes famiilles

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa fort bien équipée avec nos enfants et petits enfants (15 personnes) pour les fêtes de Noël, pour la plus grande joie des petits et des grands. Sa situation privilégiée nous a permis d'effectuer de nombreuses visites et excursions (Saint Guilhem du désert, Pont du diable, Pic Saint Loup etc.)

Excellents échanges et conseils avec Daniel, le propriétaire, soucieux de satisfaire au mieux notre séjour.

Merci à Gérard pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse.

Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette location située dans un cadre boisé à proximité du village charmant de Saint Martin de Londres

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage / beautiful house in quiet area

Vermieter hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet, sehr nett, sehr unkompliziert! Super!!!

Wir hatten das Haus mit 19 Personen belegt, was bei nur drei Bädern manchmal etwas Disziplin erfordert hat. Auch beim gemeinsamen Essen auf der Terrasse war es ein kleines bisschen beengt.

Empfehlenswert wäre eine Belegung mit maximal 16 Personen oder weniger. Der Schnitt des Hauses ist

sehr gut. Der Wohnraum befindet sich als zentraler Mittelpunkt im Haus und unterteilt das Haus grob in zwei

Flügel, in denen sich die Schlafräume befinden.

Am Pool sind schöne Liegen zum entspannen vorhanden. Es gibt auch eine praktische Überdachung, so dass es möglich ist bei großer Hitze einen Schattenplatz zu finden.

Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt genügend große Töpfe, Pfannen sowie Besteck, Geschirr und Gläser.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Haus und hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub dort!

Owner always responded very quickly, very friendly! Super!!!

We've been a big group of 19 people - with only three bath rooms it required some discipline. Also eating together at the terrace was little crowded.

We would recommend 16 people or less. Arrangement of rooms is perfect. The living room is in the middle splitting the house into two wings.

Around the pool you find enough sunbeds, also enough shadow places to flee for too much sun.

Kitchen is very well equipped even for big groups!

We felt very comfortable in the house and had a very nice holiday!

Maison accueillante sur petite colline en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa bien équipée avec une piscine dans un environnement au calme et dans un très beau site. Située non lieu du Pic saint Loup, nous sommes allés y faire une excursion.

La maison compte de nombreux couchages et les chambres sont équipées avec goût.

Le propriétaire est très sympa et à notre écoute.

Je recommande ce lieu à ceux qui recherchent calme et dépaysement !
