Large, secure, private & breezy one bedroom w/lovely Buck Island & sea view
About Robin Freeman
Andy and I are long-time residents of St. Croix and met here when we were both involved with the St. Croix Environmental Association. It was work about which we were both passionate and are proud to say we had major roles in the conservation of what is now Salt River National Park and The Nature Conservancy-owned Jacks and Isaacs Bays. In 2001, Rosie became a part of our family and is an island girl through and through, having taken her first several day sailing trip when she was just 8 months old and earning her skin diving “fins” at the age of 9 on another boat excursion. When we aren’t busy with work and school, we enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling and diving. We look forward to sharing our love of St. Croix and Caribbean living with you.

Why Robin Freeman chose Green Cay
When Andy and I met, we each owned a home, and neither wanted to live in the other's. So we set about looking for our home, but couldn't find one that suited us both. One place we did agree on was Miss Bea neighborhood, so when this house became available, we jumped on it.
What makes this Apartment unique
The views, the sugar mill practically in our back yard, the fruit trees, several beaches within walking distance, close to town yet in a quiet neighborhood.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Everything was perfect.
That sounds cliché, but it is true. The apartment was just as described and as the pictures showed. It was roomy and peaceful and quiet and just what we needed on our 28th anniversary trip. Robin was always helpful, and even made a phone call to check on hours for one of the sites when my phone wasn't getting through.
The apartment is close enough to just about everything that it isn't difficult to get anywhere, and the beautiful foilage provides enough screening to give you a feeling of seclusion. We loved our time there!! Thanks! -- Karen & Jim
Miss Bea Retreat
We were there 3 weeks in March, 2019. First of all, the directions that Robin had given were perfect, even for 11:00 at night. The place was just as pictured and could not have been any better. The views, breeze, location, etc. were just great. We enjoyed the entire island. Liked this end the best because of the breeze. Big Beard's 1/2 day trip to Buck Island, Lyric Sail's sunset and moonlight cruise, Sandy Point, Bucaneer's beaches (be sure to take Robin's chairs as they charge for theirs), Cane Bay, 40 Strand Street Restaurant, St. Pat's day parade, to name just a few of our favorites. Robin was always available and a terrific hostess. It was very quiet and comfortable there and we would definite go again. Dale and Mary, Champaign, IL
Thank you, Dale and Mary. I admired your schedule of chill-axing in the mornings on the porch, and then getting out and enjoying the island in the afternoons! And enjoy it you did :-) Robin
Wonderful people and great views. Very comfortable.
We picked this property for many reasons but the top two were the king bed and the look of the bathroom. Both delivered but what we got on top of that was great views (I think I took a sunrise picture everyday) and very nice people! It is far enough away from the hubbub that it was quiet but close enough to be able to get to good food and beaches. Highly recommend!
Thank you, Tim and Marian! We, too, think Miss Bea is an ideal location and enjoyed sharing it with you.

Cozy and quiet, with a beautiful view!
Robin's home is nestled back behind the Chenay Bay Resort-- an easy drive to Point Udall, Goat Hill, Jack Bay beach, Buccaneer Resort beach, Christiansted, a supermarket, and Cheeseburger Paradise restaurant -- What more could we ask for? :) We especially enjoyed the view from the front of the house while eating breakfast each morning. Our hostess was very kind to provide us with travel tips and little extras like more beach towels and Band-Aids, and she was always quick to respond. If you're looking for a private, simple space with a full kitchen on the eastern side of the island, you can't find better. Thank you for sharing your home!
Thank you for the kind words, Diana. It was our pleasure. It's always nice to meet people who are excited to see the island. -Robin
Relaxing, quiet, great view
If you want a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy St Croix, you will enjoy Miss Bea Cottage. It is located out in the country on a quiet road but only a few minutes away from several great restaurants. The unit is big for a one-bedroom, and very clean and well appointed. We walked to the beach every day and usually were the only people there. We also used the charcoal grill provided for the unit. Great view of Buck Island and the night sky!
Thank you, Margaret. You and Mark were excellent guests. We're so glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the beach! Robin & Andy
I’m a native of St. Croix and came home with my hubby to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Robin is a sweetheart, and was a joy to work with from the time we booked, until the day we left. The apartment is just as decribed, and even more cute in person. It’s also bigger than it looks online and offers a tranquil getaway for couples. The views are breathtaking! Waking up every morning to beautiful sunrises on the water, and a view of Buck Island was a real treat!! The enclosed porch is a great lounging/dining area, and offers fantastic breezes! You’ll also love the lush surroundings - beautiful flowers and fruit trees! On the day that we renewed our vows, we came back to a beautiful heart-shaped bouquet of flowers that Robin had arranged so nicely on the bed. Sweet, right??! So stop pondering and go ahead and book this apartment- you’ll be glad you did!!! 😊
You describe it so nicely (and accurately, I might add) - it makes me want to stay here - ha!!
It takes one to know one, Terry - your sweet self. You and Gene were perfect guests, very respectful of our space and the peace and quiet. Thank you!
After you have your base tan, a trip to Buck Island is very worthwhile. The water is SO clear, the beach beautiful, and the snorkeling great. There's also a nice hike to the top of the island.
There are lots of good restaurants within just a 5-20 drive. We are lucky that we have such a variety of fine restaurants on our tiny island.
The east end offers kayaking and, on the right day, stand up paddling. This is the end of the island with the best snorkeling, as well with many spots from which to choose.
One of my favorite hikes is just 10 minutes away - to the top of Goat Hill, which affords breathtaking views of all of St. Croix, Buck Island, the sea. It's a great place to meditate.
If you decide to venture out more and explore the rest of the island, the possibilities are endless!
