Large private roof terrace with 4 sun loungers, table & chairs, a retractable awning, charcoal BBQ. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, air-con & ceiling fans. The aircon is controlled by a coin operated meter, however, we put enough credit on it to last your stay, if used sensibly. Bath/shower room & shower room. Fitted kitchen with hob, oven, m/wave, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster & coffee-maker. New for 2017 is a filtered water tap, no need to buy and transport bottled water! Lounge/dining area with air-con. Balcony with table & 4 chairs overlooking the pool & gardens, but secluded! Sky/Freesat on TV/DVD, CD player. Free WIFI, Safe. Nearby restaurants, bars & supermarket (5 mins.). The long sandy beach & promenade on the edge of the Mar Menor (very safe for children) is only a 10 minutes leisurely stroll away. For golfers there a number of courses within 15 minutes drive. 5 minutes from Murcia & 50 minutes from Alicante airports, both serviced by low cost airlines.

  • The main bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath and a shower screen enclosing the whole length of the bath. It comes complete with toilet and bidet and a good-sized handbasin with mirrored unit, including storage space. There are ample hooks and rings for hanging towels and dressing gowns. The shower room has a shower enclosure, toilet, good-sized handbasin, mirror and storage shelf. Again, there are ample hooks for hanging towels. The water-pressure in both showers is excellent and there is plenty of hot water. Both bathrooms beautifully finished. Extractor fans and combined heater/cooling units in both bathrooms

  • Two bright, airy bedrooms, one double and one twin. Each bedroom is equipped with fitted wardrobes with clothes-hanging and shelving space. Both bedrooms also have two bedside tables with drawer space. For your comfort at night, the bedrooms have Air conditioning (heating and cooling) and 3-speed, silent ceiling fans. Mosquito proof screens are fitted to both bedroom windows allowing you sleep with the windows open if preffered to using the Air-con. In the cooler months the air conditioning unit is supplemented by an oil-filled radiator. The master bedroom has a window and a small door which leads directly on to the balcony. Bedroom two has a large window. Both bedrooms have large mirrors and conveniently placed electrical sockets - good for hair-drying / make-up application! Bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment also has 2 comfortable double sofa beds in the lounge.

Guests at the apartment have full use of the communal garden area beside the pool. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery and ample glasses. On the roof terrace, there are two ropes for drying clothes, in addition there is a small, portable clothes airer which can be used indoors or placed on the balcony. There is a good steam iron and ironing board. Welcome packs with essential items can be provided on arrival, minimum cost £20. Local satellite TV system giving all the British terrestrial channels BBC1,2,3,4, ITV etc. films and some sport . Spanish freeview channels are available on the TV/DVD player.There is a CD player with USB jack (take all your music with you on a memory stick) with a stock of DVDs and Cd's. In one of the drawers in the lounge, you will find some maps and guide books of the local area. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and all linen and towels are freshly laundered. New for 2014, free broadband WIFI.

Pure dead brilliant

Thank Elma and Bob for a lovely apartment. Everything had been thought about, down to minor details: no need to bring plug adapters or hair dryer, all provided. The apartment is comfy, even down to the beds and pillows. The rear balcony was good, even in March when the temperature never went over 25 degrees: always somewhere to be out of the sun, although spent more time on th sun terrace, which in the high to summer would still be good as there is plenty of shade when needed.

Los Alcazares, for us, is brilliant. We go in March and October (first and hopefully more in this apartment). We enjoy going for long walks and stopping periodically for a coffee or cool drink. The 7k promenade is great - no hills to climb and only a small step onto the beautiful beach. We love stopping at Momentos, San Juan or Chinqunitos when walking along the prom. Also a walk over the bridge to Roda is a bit different, although only one small cafe during the day and Campbell's bar at night.

In the evening, we like stopping at either Le Petit Bistro or The Celt for a drink before heading out for a meal. Plenty of places to eat: Run, Asia Star, Fresco, Veni and Rosalind's for a steak. Never had a bad meal. Penny Farthling is great for breakfast and lunch.

The markets on Tuesday and Saturday are great to walk around: with a bargain to be had.

The Spanish equivalent of the Red Arrows are great watch, if they are out over the Mar Menor.

We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone

one of our best holidays ever!!!

this was our first visit to the area. first of all the apartment was just perfect in every way, we are a family of 4, it was great to have two bathrooms!! the roof terrace was amazing as I do not swim, the the family went down to the pool i had some lovely quite time with by book. This is a very clean, secure and quite apartment complex. it is withing walking distance of the bars and restaurants. the taxi rank is just a walk away. We would hope to return to this lovely apartment and area again soon.

Fantastic apartment

This is a lovely apartment with everything you need in it. Even things like Sky and wifi. It's in a lovely quiet secure community so close to all the restaurants and only 10 mins walk from the beach.

Perfect for us!

This is our 3rd visit back to Bob and Elma's apartment.

The location is spot on-a few minutes walk from restaurants and supermarkets and 5-10 mins walk from the beach. The sea is shallow and safe for children and there are inflatables out in the sea for all to play on.

The apartment being on the third floor has super panoramic views from the large rooftop terrace,We ate on the roof many a night after many bbqs! The apartment is spacious and in good condition.The beds are very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was great.The new filtered water tap was a godsend so no more lugging litres of water back to the apartment! The pool is a good size and plenty of garden space to lie around. Our boys 9yrold and 11yr old enjoyed the 'night fair/market' (by Lidl supermarket), crazy golf delux, go karting ,sailing etc with Pro Vela at the sailing school and bike hire from the square.

We didn't eat out much but enjoyed much fresh fish/meat from Mercadona on the bbq!

Thank you to Bob and Elma again and we shall be returning again for a comfortable and relaxing holiday at El divino

Fantastic Apartment in a great destination!

My husband and I have just returned back from our holiday at Los Alcazares and we had an amazing time. Bob and Elma’s apartment is exceptionally comfortable and clean and you can relax either on the balcony or on the roof top terrace which is great for sun worshipers. The pool complex is stunning and clean and great for children. The people there are extremely friendly. Highly recommend Los Alcazares and this apartment and cannot wait to come back. Just five minutes' drive from Murcia airport, the apartment is pleasantly situated in Pueblo Patricia - a quiet residential area of Los Alcazares. Key in 'El divino 131 Los Alcazares Spain' into Googlemaps for location. There are two swimming pools surrounded by garden areas in the complex-exclusively for residents' use. The excellent Mercadona supermarket, located at the start of a pedestrian shopping/entertainment complex which leads to the sea, is only five minutes' stroll away. The beach is 10 minutes' stroll away through the complex, which boasts shops, bars and excellent restaurants. A four-star hotel is now open here. A lovely walk along the wide beach-front promenade takes you into the town centre of Los Alcazares, which still retains its Spanish atmosphere. Here you will find more excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Worth a mention is the hotel on the seafront 'El Balneario - La Encarnacion' which has thermal baths, a lovely garden patio for drinks and a great restaurant.
