Pleasant 42m2 apartment for 4 to 6 people, located on the first floor of a small residence. 1 star classification by the tourist office. Entrance hall with cupboards, living room with well-equipped kitchen area, lounge area with comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, storage cupboard; 1 small room for 2 people 140 bed with new mattress, with sink; 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds, bathroom with shower and sink completely refurbished in 2013, separate wc refurbished in 2013, large balcony.
A parking space is reserved for you in front of the residence.
A secure private ski locker is located in the basement.
The apartment faces east and south-east with beautiful views of the mountains. Large glass French doors leading to the balcony let the sun in.
Its location 50 meters from a free shuttle stop gives you quick access to all the ski lifts and the city center.

Nice, but....

Arrival information from Host was ABYSMAL !!! The keypad code for the building shared in arrival info email was ENTIRELY INCORRECT. Then, there was ZERO info about how to access the apartment (code for a key box) After an hour&a half of trying to contact vrbo/host/host representative we finally got in! Our booking for 4 adults & 2 teens appeared as only 4 adults, resulting in not enough sheets or towels for everyone. We managed around this, but for the price, this should have been better! The property was nice, and as expected, BUT full of dead and dying flies!! Oh YUCK! Apartment info mentions hottub & ski in/ski out. This is FALSE, the property info MUST be corrected. Plus points: Really close to bus, recycling & super bakery😍. Reasonable walk to town centre.

Warm, clean apartment on the outskirts of Morzine

Quite basic, warm and clean - ideal for a small family or small group of friends. The bus is very close by but it stops running at 19:30. A car is useful to have. There's a great baker 2 mins away, nice views from the L shaped balcony. Be aware that there's a bottled gas cooker, watch the fuse switches if all electric items are running, all instructions are in french but easy to translate.

Ok but could be better

The apartment is average but could do with a re-fresh. The toilet needs some repair. The location is ok although it's a drive into morzine for variety of bars and restaurants. Buses don't seem to run much beyond 7pm. You will need a car. There is nothing really provided in the apartment, not even any toilet paper and the owner wants a further 20EUR per person for bed linen / towels so that should be factored in when comparing prices. Some local info on buses, taxis, restaurants etc would help, if only a map. The skiing is great, and there's lots to do in morzine itself

Appartement conforme à la description

Le séjour s'est très bien passé. La personne de contact sur place est très réactive et disponible. Un plus avec les jeux de société disponible. Place de parking proche et libre devant la résidence. Pas de bruit.
