An excellent location within a 2 minute walk to the seaside and promenade where you can find Pleasure Cruises, a Ferry to cross over to Valletta, a bus stop with buses connection to Valletta, Mdina, the Sandy Beaches in the North and Cirkewwa from where one can take the Ferry to cross over to Gozo. Shopping centre, bank, supermarket, restaurants, coffe shops and English Language Schools are situated within a stone's throw away.

Great terrace!

The location is great for the ferry, buses to Valletta and to be near the 'strip' in Sliema. Then again if you are not the 'strip' kinds and want to get away from it all then this one is probably not it. Except the roof terrace which is wonderfully hidden away from view. The studio flat itself, unlike the rest of the house which you pass through to get to it, is modern rather than quaint.

A couple of offbeat tips: amidst the tourist traps on the main Sliema promenade the Labour Party Club bar is a little gem just metres from this flat. Simple place with real people. Sofra Kebab around the corner has a fantastic salad bar, you fill a small or large box for 4 or 6 euro respectively. Great tasting! For a nicer occasion check out l'Artist restaurant in the neighbourhood.

An ideal base.

My husband and I recently stayed in this property for a week. Edward was very helpful at the booking stage and provided us with useful information before we arrived.

The apartment is extremely clean and has everything you could need for self-catering. The outside terrace is a fabulous space-perfect for breakfast or relaxing. Edward and his family are lovely and are there if you have any queries or need information.

The last part of the stairs is narrow but only a little tricky when getting your luggage to and from the apartment.

The location is excellent as buses, tourist buses and ferries are all located at the bottom of the street. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants within easy walkng distance.

Great holiday apartment

Stayed for 14 nights and had a great time. The apartment is excellent, its location is 1st class, just a 2 mins walk from the main street. The sun terrace is amazing a really nice space to sit with a coffee or wine !!!!!, gets the sun from mid afternoon until it sets and its very private. The apartment has all the basic facilities that you need, loads of space even for a studio. It is a really quiet location even for being in a busy town, we had no issues with traffic noise at all.

The owner and his family are really lovely people, made us feel very welcome. They are around if you should need them for anything but leave you alone to enjoy your holiday.

The location of this apartment is ideal, you are only a few mins from the main seafront area where you will find all the buses and boats. There are plenty of shops, places to eat and bars within a 2-5 mins walk. 2 large supermarkets are 10 mins max away.

You can literally go anywhere on the Island from Sliema. The local bus service is very good, on time and loads of buses, some can be busy right enough but this wasn't really an issue for us. You can get a 7 day pass for 21 Euro which allows unlimited travel. The water taxi to Valletta is great and really reasonable priced - 2.80 euro return or you can get a 10 Euro - 7 day unrestricted pass. It runs from early morning until about midnight every day, every 30mins. Would recommend at least a few trips into Valletta.

There really is so much to do and see in Malta. We really enjoyed our time there. We will be back that's for sure as we ran out of time and still have loads of stuff that we want to go and see.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to family and friends it really is a great place to stay and this is down to Edward and his family's hospitality, we were sad when we had to come home.

Appartement bien situé à Sliema avec tout ce qu' il faut à proximité.

Proprietaires sympathiques disponibles et à l' écoute.

On est un peu à l' étroit dans l' appartement quand on ne peut pas profiter de la terrasse pour cause de mauvais temps.

Éclairage à améliorer, insuffisant pour lire le soir.

Ottima posizione per visitare Malta in generale.

Alloggio a pochi passi dal centro pedonale fornito di tutti i negozi.

Ottima posizione per prendere qualsiasi Bus.

Alloggio da poco ristrutturato in una tipica casa maltese abitata dai proprietari. Scala a chiocciola stretta ma caratteristica.

Terrazza con divani, barbecue, lavandino, lettini da sole.

Ottima connessione WI-FI , TV satellitare.

Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili.

A gem in Sliema

We were greeted warmly by Edward and his family, who were approachable and informative throughout our visit. There was a lovely balance between hospitality and privacy. The apartment is located at the top of a three-story building and, while the final circular stairs would be impossible for disabled people, there were no problems for two seventy-year-olds in good health. The location is perfect - sixty yards to the bus stops which serve most of the island, and a ten-minute bus ride to Valletta to link with the few other buses. Sliema's shops and restaurants and promenade begin fifty yards away. Restaurant Il-Merill is directly across the street from the apartment, offering traditional Maltese food of high quality at fair prices. Edward's is a traditional terraced home in a quiet and largely traffic-free street, and noise was never intrusive. The massive terrace is a delight for anyone who wants to lounge outside, with a choice between sun and shade for most of the day. The apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and homely. For anyone who wants to sample traditional Maltese hospitality, this is a true gem.
