La Mas des Oliviers is a very elegant house that offers everything you ask for a quiet vacation in Aix en Provence. Built in 1850 and fully renovated in 2003, the house is located in downtown Aix en Provence within a 5 min walk to all major attractions, markets and shopping. The home is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and was awarded a four-star rating by the French National Tourist Authority.

Our fully appointed gourmet kitchen (180 sq ft) is complete with full sized fridge, separate freezer, convection oven, microwave oven, 4 burner gas cook top and wood-fired barbecue-pizza oven. Casual diner is easy at the large central wooden table (8 people) in the kitchen or at the outdoor patio close to the swimming pool. Entertain family and friends in our formal dining room and spacious family room (420 sq ft) with stone fire place, stereo.

Other fun can be had using our piano, snooker and ping pong tables, playing boules, or enjoying our sauna. Outdoor kitchen with a professionnal high quality plancha for barbecues. The garden is very large (21,000 sq ft) with a lot of trees (20 olive trees, provence cypress, plane tree, numerous shrubs) which makes for a very quiet private setting.The house is two-story with bedrooms on the lower floor and living space on the upper level. Each level is connected to a garden however, as the lot is terraced. The house has 3 outdoor patios. For babies : babycot, babychair and monitor are provided.Private parking (2 cars) is reachable by steep slope. The yard is fully fenced and protected by an automatic gate.

Why Martine and Jean chose Aix-En-Provence

This house is being our family house since 2000. We have been living there with our 3 children. They are adults now and they live in their own house. We refurbished the house in order to rebuild the antique atmosphere of the end of 19th century but also to live in a modern and comfortable setting. What is wonderful here is the quietness of the house and of the large garden despite we live at 5-10 minute walking distance from Aix downtown.

Of course, we will not be living in the house during your stay but we stay ready to help you if needed.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location is absolutely perfect as it is only a 10-minute walk to the centre of town but it is so quiet that you feel like you are out in the country. We didn't have a car during our stay and we were easily able to get around town and the surrounding areas by walking, biking, and taking public transit.

The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our family including 2 small children plus guests. The garden is huge and the pool is gorgeous with a view over the town. The owners are lovely and were very helpful and accommodating. I recommend it without hesitation. We plan to return next year!

Excellent holiday

The house was amazing, plenty of space for all our family. Great facilities, great views, lovely garden, pool. Aix en Provence is a lovely town to wander around, great markets and shopping. Martine and Jean were accommodating hosts, friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect spot for our group

Loved staying at this house. There was plenty of space for our two families of seven people to live comfortably. The property is very attractive with its yards of trees, infinity pool and nice views. It also felt very secure; just far away enough to avoid the bustle of downtown Aix, yet close enough to walk anywhere with relative ease. Martine and Jean were so hospitable to us all. I would come back here without a second thought

Wonderful and comfortable rental with charming hosts

I have rented from vrbo/home away many times and this was my all time favorite rental. The villa was beautiful, affordable and very comfortable. Martine and Jean were excellent hosts and went out of their way for us. I would go back to this area just to stay at this house again. Highly, highly recommended and I hope to return.

Beautiful house and pool

We are 2 families who stayed here in August 2015. The house was everything we could have wanted. Quiet location but very close easy walk into centre of Aix. Pool was great and much bigger than it looks in pictures. We were so comfortable here and Martine was so helpful and welcoming. We would love to come back again to Aix and this house

Amazing home, great location, wonderful host

Beautiful home moments away from downtown yet secluded. Our two families, 4 adults, 6 kids, stayed very comfortably. Nice yard for kids to run around in and play soccer, swim, or ping-pong when we were in. Owners very accommodating and patient and timely. Great indoor and outdoor areas for eating and socializing. Board games, chess, etc if weather had been bad. Definitely want to go back.
