I am agriculturist and like travelling and host people in my flat.
I live in Thessaloniki for 30 years and know everything about this.
kostas Chatzistergiou purchased this apartment in 2011
My flat situated downtown and everything (monuments, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, bars) are in 15 min walking distamce.
A sunny and cosy flat in a quiet and central area.
The apartment is ideally located in the city core, within easy walking distance of anything you would want to see in the city. The unit itself is fine, with a nice bed, big balcony, good shower, and all the basic elements you need to a short stay. The owner, Kostas, was just excellent. He picked us up from and took us back to the airport and, best of all, he took us on a great walking tour of the city. He is knowledgeable and obviously very proud of the city, and it was great to see all of the magnificent historic structures shattered around the downtown area. We would recommend this apartment to others who want to spend a few days in Thessaloniki, and would highly recommend that people take advantage of Kostas walking tour option.
We stayed at Kostas' apartment in March and had a wonderful time. The apartment is beautiful: nicer than we expected! It slept the four of us very comfortably. Kostas picked us up at the Airport and was a wonderful host. He stocked our fridge with good food and left us some delicious homemade wine that his friend had made. There is a delicious restaurant across the street and bakeries galore. We will all remember our trip to Meteora with Kostas as our guide. He is a real Greek gentleman.
We had a great holiday in the apartment of Kostas in Thessaloniki. The
apartment is clean and well equiped. The terrace is fine. Kostas, the owner,
is very friendly and helpfull. We got delightful, home made, greek food.
Kostas showed us unknown areas of Thessaloniki.
For people like us, who like to stay in the middle of a town, this apartment
is a very good choice.

We slept 2 nights in the apartment in August, it is furnished with care and very clean. It is ideal for 2 people or a family of 3 or 4 persons. The double bed in the bedroom, the sofa quite comfortable for 2 in the other room (living room/kitchen). Very close to the sightseeing points, a quiet location, air condition in the living room, ventilator in the bedroom. Kostas is a perfect host, you can find welcome drinks and food in the fridge at your arrival. The Byzantine walk we had with him was enjoyable. Appartamento da consigliare senza alcun dubbio, ottima base per la visita della città, il proprietario disponibile e gentile.
"We had one of our best ever holidays in this apartment. It is the perfect size for 2-4 people, is beautifully presented with stylish and confortable furniture, original artwork and lots of plants on the balcony which was a great place for having breakfast or an evening beer.
Being on the 7th floor the street noise was hardly noticed and with the bedroom at the back the only thing we heard outside was the pigeons.
The location was perfect - you can walk to many of the major sites in less than 10 minutes and the sea is another 10 minutes further. The old town is very close too but there are buses or cheap taxis for the journey up the hill if the climb is too steep. There were supermarkets close by in both directions, a bakery next door and a traditional taverna opposite.
What makes this apartment even more special though is the landlord Kostas. He is so kind and helpful and really likes meeting new people and telling you about the city. He picked us up from the airport which was brilliant after a long day travelling. We had a lovely walk with him around the old town and he gave us some good tips for things to see and a great map. He stocked the fridge with feta, home-made marmalade, beer, wine and ouzo and he provided bread he had made and a cheese pie from his wife. This meant we could look after ourselves easily and it made the holiday relaxing from the minute we landed. You can''t go wrong renting this apartment and Thessaloniki is a wonderful city to visit. Enjoy!"
"This apartment is the perfect place to stay in Thessaloniki.
It is ideally located, in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of everything you want to see. It is on Olimpou Street, right by Jasonidou (the diagonal street that cuts through the city): It very easy to reach. Taxis are plentiful and there are a lot of garages right there if you have a car.
This small street has groceries, a bakery and other useful shops; right across the street you''ll find an excellent simple restaurant.
The apartment was very well laid out. It looked brand new: Everything was spotlessly clean and convenient. Also, being on the seventh floor, it was totally quiet -- no street noise -- something of great importance in Greece. The balcony was lovely as well and had a charming city view.
The owner, Kostas, was very, very welcoming and helpful. He even stocked the fridge for me, which was a lovely gesture! At one point there was a small mix-up about the hot water and heating, and he came over within 15 minutes to sort it out cheerfully. The heating, by the way, is excellent (something needed in Thessaloniki in wintertime). I saw an air-conditioner and I assume that is just as effective.
Again -- this place is wonderful! All my Greek friends wanted the contact information when they came to visit. I look forward to staying there again and to recommending it whole-heartedly."
Thessaloniki is 2.300 years old and very important harbour.
It's like an open air museum because Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman monuments.
