The property was exceptionally well located with views of the Saone River from the first floor apartment. There were many features within the property that we used including cooking facilities and the washing machine. Drying clothes was easy. We enjoyed the vibrant nature of the immediate area and although there was noise in the evening we were usually out amongst the the people enjoying the old town atmosphere. The property is well positioned for accessing the outstanding public transport network in Lyon.
Clothilde (owner) was very helpful and ensured we were well settled.

This apartment was perfect for the two of us. Plenty of space, well equipped and furnished, great for cooking your own meals. The location in the Old Section of Lyon put us in the middle of all the fine restaurants and important sites. Waking up every day and looking out over the river was relaxing and refreshing. The manager and her family made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us good suggestions on restaurants and sites to see. And being located over an ice cream cafe was fantastic.
We will definitely stay here again in the future should we return to Lyon. The apartment would be great for an extended stay of several weeks.The apartment was clean and ready for us in all respects.

We rented Clothilde's lovely apartment for two weeks over the Christmas holiday, and I can honestly say that everything more than lived up to our expectations! First of all, Clothilde is a wonderful landlady. She is kind and generous, and very easy to work with. In fact, when we arrived at the apartment, we found that not only had she set out fresh flowers for us to enjoy, but she had set up a small, decorated Christmas tree with mantle decorations and a stocking -- as well as a Christmas present of delicious chocolates for us to enjoy! Things could not have been better prepared. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything one needs to prepare full meals, and was a delight to use. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom new and very stylish. We very much enjoyed the spaciousness the apartment provided, and loved its fabulous location. Major bus lines started a block away, and we were within a few minute walk of the funicular to Fourviere. There were restaurants everywhere, convenient grocery stores near at hand, and a truly wonderful farmer's market just across the Saone every morning (except Monday). We have rented apartments in many different places around the world, but I have to say honestly that we have never had one as nice, comfortable, well furnished and well placed as this. We will definitely plan a return visit.

Clothilde was quick to communicate and was a gracious host - making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was well furnished and had we not wanted to eat out every day, we could have easily cooked in the well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend this rental!!!
