The location was great. No where else could you enjoy the bustle of the city sights then return back to the house boat where it is a quiet outdoor space overlooking the Seine. Very comfortable and unique. We had 6 on board and had plenty of room.
Thanks a lot. We appreciate your good feeling , it’s really an amazing spot and you enjoyed it.
Unique... a must do in Paris!
Being from Paris, but now living in the US, I wanted to stay somewhere "special". Well, the Risico was it. Christine and Cesar were extremely accommodating. Highly recommended!
Wonderful stay in Paris.
This was our first experience on a house boat. It is a beautiful property in a prime location just 15min walk to the Louvre and 5 min to Musee' D Orsay. Three bedrooms are very comfortable and the rocking of the waves ensures great sleep. There is a lovely sitting area and nice modern kitchen. I am sure the upper deck would be wonderful in the Summer, but we could not enjoy due to the weather. Surprisingly it has two showers on the boat. The biggest problem is the toilet closet. If you are taller than 6 ft, you will not be able to close the door while sitting on the toilet. This was a minor inconvenience. Our host Christine was awesome and extremely available. I would love the opportunity to stay on the boat during the summer. This is clearly a gem if you are traveling with a family.
This is the perfect place to stay in the heart of an amazing city.
We had a wonderful stay on the houseboat in the heart of Paris. Everything is within 15 to 30 minutes walking distance. Staying on the boat was a truly unique experience. The boat had very comfortable beds and had ample space for all 5 of us. The only downside to note is only having one toilet. But besides that the boat had everything we needed for our week of exploring Paris.
We were welcomed to the boat by Carlos who carefully showed us everything we needed to know to make our stay enjoyable.
The boat is a little tricky to initially get to as it’s tucked away from the main road but that is a small price to pay to literally stay on the river and wake up to iconic views.
We would definitely consider staying here again on future visits to Paris.
In the very center of Paris, facing the Orsay Museum, on the right bank moored on Port des Champs Elysees.
