Good choice

Eine schön eingerichtete, nette kleine Stadtwohnung mit eigenem Hinterhof, in dem es sich schön sitzen lässt. Für zwei Personen gut geeignet. Ansonsten wohnt keiner im Haus, das Obergeschoß steht leer, man hat seine Ruhe. Die Lage ist Teil des Charmes, mitten in dem Städtchen, französisches Leben zum Greifen nah. Die Wohnung liegt zwar an der Hauptstraße, nachts ist es jedoch ruhig, kaum Verkehr. Geographisch günstig zwischen Lubéron und Aix gelegen, Parkplatz im Hinterhof, praktische elektrische Tür. Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und diskret, Begrüßung mit Weinflasche, hervorragenden selbst gemachten Marmeladen und Lavendel.

A nicely decorated little apartment with an own backyard which is nice to sit in. Well-fit for two people. The house is otherwise not occupied, nobody lives on the upper floor, so privacy is assured. The location is part of the attraction, in the middle of town with French life to touch. While the apartment is situated on the main road, we were not bothered at all at night as traffic dwindles to near zero. Geographically well located between the Lubéron and Aix. Parking in the backyard with a convenient electric gate. Landlady is very friendly and discrete. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, excellent home-made preserves and lavender.

A fine vacation location

We enjoyed everything about the house and our stay in Le Puy. The house is charming, comfortable and well equipped. We especially liked the garden with its terraces and shady peaceful atmosphere. The location is very good for visiting many typical provencal towns. The village offers enough to cover daily needs (butcher, bakery, green grocer) for convenience. Celine and Chantel are lovely hostesses and we are looking forward to a return visit sometime soon.

A Perfect Stay

Our stay in this authentic provencal house was fantastic. The house is well equiped and prettily and tastefully decorated in Provencal style. It is situated right in the centre of the village where you can buy everything for your daily needs, This is a classic French village complete with boulangeries, a shop selling cheeses, butchers etc, it is not a tourist hotspot which adds to the charm. Having said that all of the places you could want to visit in Provence are easily accessible and there is a good bus service to Aix-en-Provence and onward to Marseille. The family that own the house are charming and very welcoming and keen to ensure that you enjoy your stay with plenty of suggestions for where to go an how to get about. I would thoroughly recommend this rental.
