We were a party of 4 adults and 5 children. We stayed for a week in August 2016. We had an excellent experience at this villa. Sue was extremely helpful and good at keeping in touch. The local team of people looking after the villa were also very helpful and came over quickly when needed e.g. we wanted extra internet data to watch HD movies so Mete came and sorted it out for us on the same day. They were also very good in recommending local attractions and bazaars (though there was already a lot of useful information in the welcome book). The air conditioning was great and very consistent as temperatures outside were in the mid to high 30's. The pool was perfect and our kids simply didn't want to leave the villa, even to sightsee. The villa is quite secluded which was great for privacy - the kids could be as loud as they wanted at all hours. We hired a minivan and though the approach to the villa is a little steep and on a slight twist, it was not difficult to get used to. The beach and local market were nearby and sightseeing locations such as waterfalls and ruins were all within 1 hours drive. This villa is well looked after and we are very happy to recommend it to others.
We had a great time during our stay at the villa. It's a spacious villa and very well equipped. Lovely bedrooms and three bathrooms (one en-suite) is a real boon. The pool is great, the kids spent a lot of their time in it! The welcome pack was a nice touch. Its in a quiet position, about a mile from the village centre. Views to the mountains in the north are great, Side is just a few minutes away by car, with its spectacular Temple of Apollo and extensive ruins. Less than half an hour gets you to Aspendos (fabulous Roman theatre, etc), or Perge (entire Roman town) Google them, lots of photos on Google Maps. The locals are friendly, especially Mehmet the caretaker. Hire cars can be had really cheaply, and are essential if you want to do any sightseeing.
Follow directions for Alanya after leaving the airport terminal and join the D400 follow his road until you reach the village if Ilica turn left through the double arches. You will be met at this point by our local representatives who will escort you for the last short section of the journey. Total journey time not more than 45 minutes.
