Great property , value for money
We stayed as a family of 10, plenty of space all well equipped, very clean , the pool was fantastic a got used every day , no complaints at all , this accommodation is of a high standard and we will be returning
A well maintained property with a pool that was ideal for our party of 8 adults & 2 young children. Sky TV, Internet & a variety of games provided to satisfy most of our family group. Location was about right to explore the Old Town and also stroll into the Port Area. Plenty of appliances, utensils, cutlery, dishes, crockery & glasses in the kitchen. Glorious views, day & night, over JAVEA. Hard to find a reason not to return.
Perfect for a family holiday
This property is nicely decorated, simple and clean. It has 5 bedrooms, 4 in the main house and a separate annex with a large bedroom. 4 of the bedrooms are ensuite, 1 has a bathroom nearby. They are simply furnished but be aware they have no curtains to block the light. The lounge is off the kitchen. Both are fairly small, but just about adequate. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen could do with more useful equipment, especially if catering for 10 or 12 people.
There is a lovely pool with patio area and sun loungers. Lots of steps down to the villa, so you need to be mobile. The pool has no fence, so you need to be careful with young children. Good fun playing table tennis and pool, but the pool table has seen better days.
You can walk to the old town which is nice with a good selection of restaurants.
We enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this villa, but it is not luxury.
Villa requires some TLC
The positives: villa very roomy, air con in all bedrooms, wonderful pool, having the table tennis and pool table was excellent, villa not overlooked, lovely views, excellent wifi and sky tv a welcome treat.
the negatives: no air con in the living area making the kitchen unbearably hot, cleanliness not up to standard, kitchen units a bit worse for wear, half of one shower door missing, instructions file did not give adequate instructions (owner very easily contactable), area to the back of villa appeared overgrown and neglected.
Overall we had a wonderful time but would recommend having own transport.
Beautiful villa, loads of space, plenty to do
Perfect villa for a family or large group, all the facilities you need, luxurious villa with loads of character. Tranquil surroundings but close enough to the buzz of Javea. Thanks!
Our stay at Finca Rustica
We have a villa holiday every year and I would like to say this is the best value holiday I have ever had. The villa is equiped with almost everything imaginable, and the communication with the owner and the villa manager was spot on. The location was great, all three of Javea's locations i.e The Port, The Old Town and the beach within minutes. All the bedrooms have good working air conditioning, the swimming pool was immaculate. Keep up the good work. Have and would have no hesistation in recommending this villa.
With a reputation as a friendly family resort, Javea possesses a long and respected history. The landscape ranges from rugged mountains to sandy coastlines and many see Javea as the gem of the Costa Blanca's 200 mile sun-blessed coastline. Retaining its distinctly Spanish flavour the attractive old town, with its tapas bars, blend comfortably with the more modern seafront and its array of shops, bars and restaurants below. With its arches in local Tosca stone, black grills and large Gothic windows, Javea has a museum not far from the fortress church and an indoor market where fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat are sold. Golf courses are close to hand, and water sports nearby. Riding, tennis.... so much on offer! - The surrounding countryside is well worth exploring and a car in Spain is a necessity. The owners can arrange car hire for you if needed.
