The Old Gas House is a 1st floor apartment in a newly converted period building conveniently situated just off the square. The apartment enjoys views of the famous Tramontana mountains and its spacious and elegant rooms form a “U” shape around the private terrace. The well equipped kitchen overlooks the balcony and the bedroom wing opposite. In the centre is the exquisitely furnished living room with its original marble fireplace. Master bedroom has a huge en suite bathroom and a hall separates the 2nd bedroom from the family bathroom.

Heating is supplied for winter months log fire also available in the sitting room. Air conditioning for summer months. Reduced credit crunch price.

Smoking permitted on terrace only. There is a lift from the main entrance to the door, however there are four steps to the lift. The apartment is all on one level. Oil radiators provide heating for the winter months plus open log fire in living room.

Soller's hidden apartment with a view of the peaks

Yes, there is a certain magic about Soller and this apartment is so conveniently placed to take advantage of the town's restaurants, shops, cafes and places of interest. We found it was an excellent base for exploring the area by foot, bus, tram or train during our stay of over three weeks. We quickly settled into the Soller pace and relaxed. Thank you. G&F

Great apartment in the heart of Soller

We spent a week in this lovely apartment in the heart of Soller. The home was very clean and had plenty of room for our family. Susan and Della are were great to work with and were really helpful. Would recommend though to avoid bringing a car to Soller as parking is tough and the roads are very tight!!

Parking is a nightmare, so whenever I come at that time, I just use the Train, bus, tram or taxi's. I do a lot of walking too. Other seasons, it is quite a challenge to sort out your day getting a park overnight and leaving by 1000 in the morning. Its all part of the holiday and living in such a magical town. Spacious, quiet & central.

The property was in the ideal location - right next to the main square in Soller. This made it extremely convenient for getting out & about using the local transport available & it was lovely to be out in the square in the evenings, enjoying the atmosphere, knowing that there wasn't a trek to make it home. The property was clean and spacious, with a lovely view on the balcony over the mountains - an ideal breakfast spot. Della, who manages the property, was extremely kind and helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay.

Comfortable, well equipped and spacious

The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and spacious. It stayed cool even when the temperature was in the high 30's and there is air-con in both bedrooms and the lounge. We couldn't hear any noise from the square at night. It's a great location for anyone wanting to explore the west side of Mallorca. The laundry facility was particularly useful. We found the property manager and owner easy to contact and helpful.

A property easy to live in

We stayed for the month of March in this lovely property. Lots of character and most of what you might need. It's a very spacious apartment with everything for a comfortable stay...beds and good linen, an interesting book and DVD collection with lots of local information for the visitor and effective heating which we used in the cool evenings. The apartment is very conveniently situated just a very short distance from the main square and the life of Soller, but as it faces away from the square it is always very quiet and peaceful. We loved the area around Soller and will visit again.

Ideally located and highly recommended apartment

Just completed our (family of four) 3rd stay in three years in this lovely apartment and it didn't disappoint.The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is situated just yards from the Plaça de la Constitució with the beautiful Soller bank by Joan Rubio and the church of Sant Bartomeu, town hall, the quaint trams that take you to the Port and all the restaurants and shops. Despite this proximity the apartment is very quiet, with a view to the mountains surrounding Soller.

The apt is very clean and very well equipped indeed, has a spacious living area and large kitchen. TV has UK channels, DVD player, CD player, washing machine means you can take less luggage if you choose. Air conditioning good for July.

The owner is very easy and friendly to deal with and has a very helpful manager living in the area.

We stayed 11 nights this year and spent a lot of time down on the Repic beach in Port Soller and exploring locally. Soller market is on Saturdays and worth a look. Can recommend Luna 36, Salvia (no kids), Ca'n BoQueta (tasting menu), Ca'n Pintxo, all in Soller, and the Kingfisher and Es Passeig down in the Port. Fantastic ice-cream and crepes at Giovanni L in Soller main square and also down at Repic beach.

Highly recommended. We really hope to be back again!!

The magical town of Soller is a special place situated in the beautiful Tramontana mountain area at the centre of the Soller Orange Valley. Throughout the year it plays host to many different colourful cultural and religious festivals in the Town Square. Bars and Restaurants are plentiful and good value for money. It is nearby to other towns of interest, such as Deia, Valldemosa and Fornalutx. There is a train to Palma and also the famous tram which takes 20 mins to get from the old town to Port Soller and beach.
