A wonderful apartment in the centre of the beautiful city of Nimes. Jerome, the owner was superb to deal with. The apartment was charming, stylish, spotless and large. It is around the corner from great cafes and shops. I am definitely planning to stay there again.
This property is superb. Everything about it, down to the CD selections has been chosen with the greatest of care. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well appointed.
The location in the centre of Nimes makes it the ideal location for visiting the Arenes, the Maison Carre and the many other places of interest. Parking is close by and leaving a car overnight is very safe.
We needed to leave very early on our departure day. This was no problem. The owners colleague met with us at 6.45am to ensure that we could get on our way!!
We are already planning a return to Nimes and to this apartment.

"1) Owner was easy to contact both before and during the rental and responded with appropriate speed. Most obliging.

3) Property was clean and comfortable.
4) Furnishings of a high standard and well sufficient for 4 guests.
5) Internet access good.
6) External noise not an issue.
7) Common area of the building was clean and satisfactorily lit.
8) No lift, but easy stair access to property one level up from street.
9) No view except onto street - but none expected!
10) Suggestions. (a) A ladies hair dryer now usually included in similar properties. (b) Doona bedding provided generally too hot, but no alternative such as a cotton/wool blanket for all beds.
11) Overall, ranks with the best of its type in which we have stayed anywhere."
"This apartment is located in the heart of one extreamly beautiful city. From the french balcony one can feel great vibe of the pedestrian narrow street below and some days even hear the concerts from the great arena. The apartment has great atmosphere and interior design has been done with very good taste and quality. Owner is very kind and helpful. Apartment even has its own website! Highly recommend!"
My husband and I spent five nights at Jerome's lovely apartment this fall. It was wonderful. The photos and description are absolutely accurate. The apartment is beautifully decorated and completely equipped. The location is excellent for exploring the historic center of Nimes as well as being a base for day trips to places such as the Pont du Gard and Avignon. Because of street construction in the center of Nimes, we did not find the parking garage near the arena but we parked at Les Halles parking garage, which was every bit as convenient to the apartment (and it was a great excuse to visit Les Halles almost every day, which I would recommend). We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around and through the pedestrian center, stopping for coffee and pastries or drinks and nibbles in the many cafes and shops. We took a couple of day trips during our stay which we also enjoyed. After our excursion to Pont du Gard, we stumbled upon a restaurant, Les Jarres, in Castillon, which was fabulous. Excellent food, bright blue skies and big maple leaves drifting down from the trees on the square. It was almost heaven.
Jerome and Brigite were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends. Thank you, Jerome, for a delightful stay.
Itinerary from the TGV train station to the appartment :
To get out of the station, follow the «Feuchère Arènes de Nîmes» exit signs.
Take the Feuchère avenue (center of the avenue)
At the end of Feuchère avenue, you have to cross a square: the Jardin de l’Esplanade.
At the end of this square take the street Régale in front of the square.
At the end of the sreet, take the way under a poch to take the street of the Trésorerie.
At the end of this street take «rue du Chapitre». Go to number 6.
This should take approximatively 10 minutes walking.
