In the heart of the old city, very nice place to enjoy Cadiz. Walking distance to everything: Plaza Mina, to taste the typical “tapas”, Barrio de la Viña, where you can have the best fresh fish in town, or to Barrio del Pópulo, very lively at night. Very sunny and completely renovated attic, upper part of a unifamiliar house, with a big terraze full of plants. Have a nice holidays in a typical house of Cadiz. Common patio, well, “galeria” and tower. We live in the first floor and the atic is the one we rent.We have a one year dog. it is a water dog, really friendly.

Wonderful apartment in captivating Cadiz!
We spent eight days in this spacious apartment and wished we could have stayed longer.
From the outset booking was seamless and Arantxa was at the apartment to meet us and show us where everything was and also give us some tips on where to eat, shop and visit.
The apartment has everything one could ever need from a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook the local produce which is delicious and in abundance to plenty of bed linen and even beach towels if you want to travel lightly.
The terrace is a great bonus for spending time relaxing after a busy day exploring and then you can flop into the comfy bed.
We walked for hours around the old town and beyond and around every corner there is another beautiful square to have tapas and drinks. Cadiz is a place that we could never tire of and we loved living as a "local" with the friendly people saying "hola" or "buenas dias" to us.
If you love fish and seafood then go to the fish market which is only ten minutes walk away; it is an absolute joy! There are also vendors there who have every fruit and veg you could imagine. Everything is delicious and very reasonably priced compared to the UK.
La Calleta beach is a short stroll away with a beautiful Victorian style pavilion and a castle on either side of it. Also a short walk away is La Camara Oscura where you can see the whole of Cadiz in live action.
We took a trip to Jerez by train (only 35 minutes) to see the Dancing Horses which was enchanting and we also visited Tio Pepe sherry house which is now run by the fifth generation of the family...well worth a visit.
To sum up if you feel like a change from crowded costas and "the full English breakfast" then think of Cadiz, you will not be disappointed.
Thank you to Arantxa and Ignacio for providing this special apartment for others to enjoy! And hello to Appel the dog!

Cadiz Roof Terrace apartment
This was a lovely apartment with large terrace and excellent facilities. Situated right in the centre of the old town it is an ideal base to explore. The owners live on the floor below and are very friendly and helpful while allowing their tenants privacy and independence. Their presence means that any questions are dealt with immediately, a great advantage. It is just a short walk to a sandy beach which although busy during our stay was very pleasant and there are excellent cafes, restaurants and bars within in minutes walk of the property. Cadiz itself is beautiful and fascinating and we would be happy to return to both the town and this apartment. Many thanks to the family for their help during our stay!
Muchas gracias, es un gusto tener huéspedes como vuestra familia.
You´re always welcome!!
See yoo soon
Beautiful attic apartment
We spent a wonderful week in Cadiz in this lovely apartment. It is a perfect base to explore the old town with everything within easy reach. We loved the market, the beach and generally wandering about. Arantxa's recommendations for places to eat were brilliant and we managed to visit quite a few using the maps provided.
The apartment is gorgeous with everything you could need and the terrace is fantastic for meals outside and sitting with a drink at night. It is very helpful to have Arantxa and her family available for any help or advice but the apartment is totally separate. (The details on home away say there is only a bath in the apartment but in fact there is a lovely big shower).
Thank you for letting us stay here and we would love to return one day.
Thanks a lot for your words!!
You are always welcome! See you soon
Regards from Cádiz
Great Apartment in Centre of Cadiz, Lovely Terrace
We had a fabulous stay at Arantxa's flat, very central and with a lovely terrace. The sun is on it most of the day, but a great place to sit in the shade for breakfast and dinner. Arantxa's a/c was a wonderful respite from the heat.
You are always welcome!
Balcony was the best feature
Apartment in great location situated within walking distance of the market, cathedral and two beaches. The balcony was the selling point as we lived outside the whole time. Although it is above the owners residence there was complete privacy. The owner was a pleasure to deal with giving lots of helpful tips on what was on, restaurants etc. The city is very vibrant and not what we expected. Would definitely return. The only negative was the noise of people passing by after restaurants closed and the garbage being collected early in the morning. However this is what is to be expected if you are living in the city centre with everything so close. Great holiday for us and sorry to have left.
A delightful place
This was our second visit. We found it an excellent base for exploring Cadiz and feeling part of the city. Accommodation is airy, comfortable, practical. The terrace is an enormous bonus - such a lovely spot for watching the swifts wheeling past in the evening, and of course, perfect for siestas!
Arantxa made us very welcome and was always willing to help.
Thank you for providing such a lovely base for a holiday.

Nice place to enjoy the gastronomy of Cadiz, at walking distance to all restaurants and Tapas´bars. Interesting trips to Pueblos Blancos and Sierra de Cadiz in the highlands, or to the costs of Conil, Caños, Zahara de los Atunes, Rota, Chipiona and Sanlucar. By boat or catamaran you can also reach the beautiful Puerto de Santa Maria and Rota as well.
