The estate “Les Bastides Hôtelières du Verdon” which is a typical Provencal 98-acre property welcomes you in 4 farmhouses with all modern conveniences. Crossed by a river that strides along its small valley, it extends from the entrance of the village La Verdière, 300 m on foot from all amenities. Each farmhouse has its own heated pool and private fenced garden. Our 4 farmhouses:

Les Lavandes and Les Blés: these charming farmhouses perched on a hill will welcome you in a private atmosphere in a cocoon of evergreen oaks. At siesta time, the Provencal fragrances will seduce you, lulled by the birds and cicadas songs. It is suitable for disabled persons with wheelchair.

Les Chardons and L’Insolite: these modern farmhouses in the valley will invite you to discover the nice blend of the contemporary world and the countryside. You will enjoy unobstructed views over the nature as far as your eyes can see, under the watchful eye of the typical village of La Verdière perched in Provence and its wonderful castle. It is suitable for disabled persons without wheelchair.

Our rental package: a mix of hotel and bed & breakfast, “Les Bastides Hôtelières du Verdon” successfully combined the quality and comfort of hotels and the freedom of private houses. The weekly rate includes water, gas, electricity, high speed Wi-Fi Internet, bed linen, beds made before arrival, bath towels, cleaning and heated pool from April to October (several services and pets allowed upon request). Our village: La Verdière is one of the most beautiful perched and typical villages of the Haut-Var department and is nestled again its castle on top of a hill. It is away from the main tourist roads and is located in the famous Regional Park of the Verdon and the Pays de la Provence Verte. When you arrive in La Verdière, you will be struck by the defensive aspect of its architecture. Racked in a concentric shape around the heart of the village, houses are like high clustered battlements and windows are like arrow slits. When you arrive in La Verdière, it is more serene with flowered facades, peaceful shops and laughs that break out from the windows. Streets are pleasant, tortuous and narrow and yet easily accessible. Step by step, they guide you towards the castle, private estate listed as historical monument and perfectly traditionally renovated by its owner. Each summer, this history lover opens the heavy doors of this prestigious fortress of our past. From the church square that is adjacent to the castle, unobstructed stunning views are worth the detour. In the village, you will find: pizzeria with take away pizzas, Asian restaurants with take away meals, traditional restaurant, café, bar and tobacconist, newsagent, bakery, “Utile” supermarket, hairdressing salon, butcher shop (specialist of barbecue meats) and weekly market.

Activities and leisure activities:

In La Verdière: visit of the village and its château (candlelight dinner and visit for a guaranteed atmosphere), Marché de Provence, hikes, bike rides, park with hundred-year-old cedars and children’s playground, boules ground, tennis court or soccer field, different events organised throughout the season.

In the surroundings: La Verdière is one of the only 3 villages of the Var that are located inside the Regional Park of the Verdon and the Provence Verte. Unexpected richness such as the Route des Lavandes, the Route des Vins, the Routes des Crêtes, the Route des Châteaux, visit of perched villages, vineyards, olive-growing lands, farms, mills, handicraft boutiques, workshops and other factories. You will discover local products and all the manufacture secrets of goat cheese, lavender honey, olive oil, wines of the Côteaux-Varois and Côtes-de-Provence, coloured Provencal markets, restaurants and tables d’hôtes that will delight you with their Provencal cuisine (truffles, game meat, goat cheese, traditional meals, etc.) Discover our handicraft and its manufacture in our workshops: Faïence (earthenware) de Moustiers and Varages, terra cotta tiles of Salernes and other Santons, thermal baths and casino of Gréoux-les-Bains, music festivals, National Museum of Prehistory in Quinson, golf courses of Barbaroux in Brignoles and Sainte-Baume in Nans-les-Pins, Saint-Maximin Basilica, the mountains of Sainte-Baume and Sainte-Victoire, etc.

La Provence Verte: the Green Provence is a land with character shaped by the locals and approved “region of art and history” by the Minister of Culture and Communication thanks to its rich heritage. This landscape that gathers together 43 villages starts in the centre of the Var and stretches to the Western Haut-Var to end at the border with Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. This stunning heritage adds to the traditional colours of Provence, the blue of the rivers and the Argens River. Mixed with the yellow sun, it creates the omnipresent green woods on lands dedicated to lovers of nature and outdoor activities. Here local products are pleasant. Les Lavandes: the most stylish of our 4 farmhouses is located 300 m from the centre of La Verdière.

In this opulent farmhouse on the ground level which environment is a mix of evergreen oaks and countryside, the indoor decoration with coloured notes is a tribute to the lavender, the “blue gold” of our hills and the pride of our heritage. Whitewashed walls, linen sheets of our grandmothers, shaded arbour and wrought-iron art will immerse you in the old-style atmosphere where Provencal fragrances and cicadas songs will provide a sweet stay. High quality furniture and household appliances are provided for your highest comfort. The master bedroom, the living room, the dining room and the kitchen open onto the South-exposed terrace that overlooks the pool and the solarium.

Other bedrooms overlook the evergreen oaks that are so close to the French windows that birds seem to be singing inside of the house. A green cocoon not overlooked for nature and tranquillity lovers. Privacy guaranteed.

Traumurlaub

Wir haben in dem Ferienhaus Les Lavandes für 1 Woche (im Anschluss daran waren wir 1 Woche im Ferienhaus Les Chardons) einen ganz tollen Urlaub gehabt.

Das Haus ist umgeben von der Natur. Kein störender Straßenlärm. Das unbedingt benötigte Kfz kann unmittelbar vor dem Hauseingang abgestellt werden.

Das Haus ist in einem Top-Zustand!

Im Außenbereich verfügt es über eine sehr große Terrasse mit bequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten in Schatten- und Sonnenbereichen. Davor liegt ein vollkommen ausreichend großer, beheizter und von den Vermietern gut gepflegter Pool mit einfachem Einstieg für groß und klein. Die variablen Liegeflächen am Pool sind großzügig und bequem.

Die Ausstattung im Haus ist qualitativ sehr gut, sehr umfangreich, geschmackvoll und wirklich mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgesucht (z.B. frische Blumen im Haus). Hier bieten die Vermieter deutlich mehr, als man es von sonstigen Ferienhäusern in Frankreich gewohnt ist. Sitzmöbel und Betten weisen eine gute Qualität auf. Auch die in vielen Ferienhäusern oft vernachlässigten Bäder sind hier von sehr guter Qualität. Das Wohn-/Esszimmer ist groß und hell, aber auch die drei Schlafzimmer und die zwei Bäder sind sehr großzügig angelegt. Die technischen Geräte funktionieren alle einwandfrei. Der Fernseher bietet eine Vielzahl an Programmen in deutscher und sonstigen Sprachen. Das Wifi funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Küche hat wirklich alles, was man braucht und in sehr guter Qualität.

Die Einweisung bei Ankunft in die wichtigsten Dinge, aber auch die Antworten auf diverse Fragen waren sehr hilfreich. Die sehr sympathischen Vermieter waren nicht nur beim Empfang und der Einweisung, sondern auch während unseres Aufenthalts stets erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit. Sie haben unseren traumhaften Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus wirklich zu einer unvergesslichen Erinnerung gemacht.Wir können dieses Haus daher sehr guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen!! Und: Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Many thanks for the wonderful stay yet again and for being so helpful. Audrey, you were always very quick to answer my questions and I was grateful for the helpful tips I received. Les Lavandes is a wonderful environment for relaxation and my daughters specially requested that we come back this second time, as they liked it so much. The house had not deteriorated in the slightest since we came two years ago and we enjoyed again the beautiful bedrooms with elegant wall-hangings, the spacious and stylish bathrooms, well-organized kitchen and most of all the terrace, with the large table and comfy sofas. My daughters barely left the premises; they .

Vacances au Paradis

Que dire de cette villa que nous connaissons depuis juin 2011? Que du bien !

L'accueil est toujours chaleureux et amical, c'est avec de petites attentions que Corinne et Christelle nous reçoivent, renforçant le plaisir

de nous retrouver. Pour faciliter notre séjour, elles n'en demeurent pas moins disponibles.

L'endroit est calme, les extérieurs sont propres, agencés et équipés avec goût, la piscine chauffée est bien appréciée!

La maison est bien conçue, l'agencement des pièces a été réalisé avec soin et raffinement, leurs équipements sont de qualité, idem pour la literie.

Bien située, cette villa bénéficie de tous les commerces de proximité et est proche des nombreux sites à visiter ou balades à réaliser.

Cette location que nous aurions préféré garder pour nous, est à recommander vivement!

Contact réservation professionnel et très sympathique confirmé à notre arrivée : accueil plus que sympathique ! Conseils éclairés sur les activités et commerces environnants. Location parfaitement entretenue à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Maison fonctionnelle, aménagements et mobiliers bien pensés, pratiques et de qualité. Piscine bien chauffée. Notre petite jack a tout particulièrement appréciée l'accueil qui lui a été réservé et l'espace extérieur hermétiquement clos.

Un coin de paradis

Que dire de plus : tout était parfait : décoration très soignée, vaste espace de vie, équipements complets, propreté irréprochable, lits faits à l'arrivée. Cette location est digne d'une hôtellerie de luxe ! Cette bastide est nichée dans un écrin de verdure. Le calme qui y règne est absolu, à peine perturbé par le chant des oiseaux et le coassement lointain des grenouilles. Bien qu'ayant loué à la mi-avril, nous avons pu profité de la piscine chauffée à 25 ° et de bains de soleil sur les transats. A peine arrivés, nous nous sommes sentis adoptés par cette belle demeure, mais peut-être que l'accueil chaleureux de Corinne et Christelle y était pour quelque chose. Merci encore pour vos délicates attentions et votre grande disponibilité.

Le village de la Verdière a su conservé son authenticité. Ne partez pas sans avoir goûté les merveilleux croissants de la boulangerie. Les balades et randos aux alentours du village sont inoubliables. Merci à Christelle pour son explication détaillée de la rando au Lac d'Esparron.

Un seul regret : il a fallu partir et quitter ce lieux merveilleux, mais peut-être n'est-ce que pour mieux y revenir ?
