About the property


From November begins painting the facade of the building on the side of our apartment.

This work must last until the end of May.

This means that during much of this period, there will be scaffolding on the facade of the building, and for a few days the removal of shutters to renovate. Luckily in the room there are interior shutters.

For this reason, during this entire period we lower all our prices by 30%.



This small 2 bedroom apartment is located on the 3rd floor (with elevator) of a beautiful building with double entries, a sea side and city side.

The apartment overlooks the city side and has a view of the mountains that surround Menton.

It is composed of an entrance room with kitchenette and dining area, a bedroom with a mezzanine and a bathroom with toilet.

Menton is a pretty little town of the French Riviera, located between the Principality of Monaco and Italy.

Although in the Mediterranean Sea, the city is surrounded by a beautiful circus mountain.

This very particular geography, that Menton has a very mild climate, even in winter.

This can be seen particularly in the many beautiful gardens of the city where it is possible to find very particular species and which are often found on other continents.

We have no washing machine, but there is a laundromat on the Town Hall Square (30m, right in front of the building). During the stay the sheets for the 2 beds are provided and renewed for extended stays. By cons the towels (towels and gloves) is not provided. 3 parking very close. Parking at the Hotel de Ville at 100m, Parking St Roch at 200m and Parking Vieille Ville - Sablettes at 350m. Possibility of subscribing for periods ranging from 1 day to 1 month (possibility to do it over the internet for parking Vieille Ville Sablette). At night these car parks are only available to subscribers. Cable TV (French channels). Stereo mini-chain. In summer there are 2 fans in the room (1 up and 1 down).

L'avantage de cet appartement est d'etre au centre ville de Menton. Nous étions présent ( commel'an passé pour le 31 décembre ) et nous n'avons pas eut de nuisance sonores. Pour nous le stationnement dans cet hypercentre est solutionné par le parking St Roch qui est payant mais l'abonnement pour une semaine facilite la vie. La location est correcte, les propropriétaires sympatiques et il y a une entrée centre ville et une entrée coté mer. Pour la restauration pas de probléme, pour l'approvisionnement , traiteurs, supérettes sont au pied de l'appartement.

Family vacation

This became a highly appreciated vacation, a lot thanks to the warm welcoming and the central location of the apartment. Situated exactly where the main street starts and just by the beach, this was the ideal place to stay. Close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets and even an art museum we had a wonderful time in the "Lemon Town" of Menton.

The large windows and the high ceiling of the apartment made a nice impression on us and the view over the mountains in the morning sun was a great sight to wake up to. Just next door you could get your baguette and then just continue down the street for a day of shopping, culture and even more importantly - relaxation. It was so practical having the apartment where it is, would you happen to have done some shopping you just quickly went back, deposited your bags and went out again. Or just the possibility to go and change your shoes after hours of walking around in this magnificent town.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back soon again.

appartement très bien situé

avec une modification de décoration et de modernisation de la cuisine et salle de bain,cet appartement serait un pur bonheur

très pratique pour l'entretien,bonne literie,surface habitable suffisante pour passer de bonnes vacances

l'immeuble est d'une propreté irréprochable

Effectivement des travaux de rénovations de la salle de bains et de la cuisine/salle à manger sont prévus, dès que nous aurons le temps nécessaire dans notre planning de réservations. Nous venons de passer une semaine très sympa, au bord de la mer, entourés de chars plus beaux les uns que les autres pour la fête du citron.

Owner's Response: En plus du site magnifique de la ville de Menton (entre mer et montagnes), de la situation de l'immeuble (proche du centre historique de la ville, au début de la zone piètonne et face à la mer), les Fêtes du Citron font parties des périodes ou la ville se métamorphose grace à des animations toujours originales qui se déroulent de manières permanentes un peu partout dans la cité.

The building is located in the city center, in the historic heart of Menton and the entrance to our beautiful old town.

It is located opposite to the beaches and the beginning of the pedestrian zone, and is 200m from the municipal market and the Cocteau museum.

All necessary shops are very close.

A taxi rank is in front of the building and train stations and bus stops are about 700m.

Nice Airport - French Riviera is 40 km.

The Italian border is 2.5 km away, and the Principality of Monaco is 10km.
