About the property

This is a central London two bedroom apartment that has been completely renovated. The accommodation is spacious, airy and light. The kitchen and bathroom are new with granite worktops in the kitchen and a marble bathroom.

It is well equipped and very comfortable.

We provide free WI-FI access,guest safe, coffee machine and quality linen. We have a fold up guest bed which can be used to accommodate a 5th guest (child)additional charges apply.

The apartment is situated in Zone 1, near the Southbank. It is possible to walk to Tate Britain

in 10 minutes and Big Ben, the London Eye and the Southbank center in 15/20 minutes.

View London from the river Thames, the river bus stop is 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Park with children's play area, tennis courts and italian cafe two minutes walk away.

Why Mary Ginty chose London

This apartment is my former home, very comfortable and very central. The street is very quiet but a short walk from the transport system to get you around town.

The Thames Clipper river bus is 5 minutes walk away and it is an amazing way to view the city and much cheaper than the tourist charter boats.

Excellent stay

Very centrally located in a quiet neighbourhood. Very easy to get to the west end and all the other London attractions. It is exactly as advertised and more. The flat itself is big enough and is very very clean. We have two very active 10/12 year old boys and plenty of games to occupy them. We will stay here again no doubt.

Great welcome, space and location.

My family had a wonderful stay at this flat. It is in a great location, plenty of space for our family of four and was a welcome home to return to at the end of a day of sightseeing, or shopping. Access to trains, restaurants and supermarkets was really convenient. Thank you to Vito for providing us a home away from home!

The apartment was exactly as it was described on-line.

My sister and I stayed at the apartment for a week in September. Vito the owner met us at the station and walked us to it. There are a lot of stairs, but that wasn't an issue for us. It was clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water and pressure and beautiful large bath towels. The location was ideal for us, we walked to The London Eye, Big Ben, War Museum and Churchill War Rooms. The train/tube station (Vauxhall) was easy to navigate and perfect for us to get where we needed to go. We took the tube a lot and the train to see relatives. Grocery stores were close by and well-stocked for our needs. We ate at the Rose Pub, which was really good, and The Counter Restaurant which is right by the train station, the food was good, service ok.

I would definitely recommend the apartment to others and go there again if I had the opportunity. Thanks again Vito and Mary. Leigh Golding

Very clean and convenient

The flat is not a lived in flat so there is no clutter. It is very comfortable and has been recently updated. The bathroom and kitchen were beautifully done. All other rooms were clean and nice. Even though it is close to a very busy area and tube stop, plus a train station, the street the flat is on, Vauxhall Grove, is nice and quiet. What was really convenient was the little grocery store right at the entrance/exit to the tube. Also right there is a nice restaurant. After visiting the Tate Britain Museum we walked across Vauxhall bridge to our flat. Vito was there to meet us and show the place to us. He also answered questions via text which was very helpful. Plus there was a washing machine in the kitchen which we needed.

Wonderful!

Exceeded our expectations...the flat was clean, modern and close to the tube. Couldn't have asked for more. Vito was charming and met us at the flat. His famous lemon cake was joined by scones and jam made by his wife. Both were fabulous. It contributed to the enjoyment of our trip.

Lovely apartment in good location

Had a wonderful vacation for our family of four. Close to tube station, groceries, restaurants. Short stroll to Thames. Comfortable and clean apartment. Vito kindly met us and showed us around, even provided some goodies in the refrigerator.

Car: not necessary

The accommodation is located just 3 minutes from Vauxhall station and two stops from Victoria Station. Vauxhall is a new transport interchange and it is possible to take the train, Tube or several buses all over London. It is 4 stops or 10 minutes to the West End/Oxford Street/Regent street on the tube.

From Kings cross-St Pancras you can take a direct tube to Vauxhall station- it takes 15 minutes on the Victoria line.

The Gatwick express train runs every 15 minutes between the airport and Victoria station.

Bus/coach services from Standsted Airport to Victoria station run four times per hour and take approx 1 hour.Check in time is from 3pm to 11pm Check out time is by 10.30am. Please contact us for check in outside of these hours

If you would like to view London from the river, the river bus stop is 7 minutes walk from the apartment,the Thames clipper is a passenger riverboat.

Bike hire is available from Vauxhall Station

There are restaurants and cafe within walking distance. Our neighborhood deli 'Italo' is two minutes walk away and serves fresh Italian produce with a daily changing menu.

Sainsbury's and Waitrose supermarket located at the underground station (3 minutes walk)

The famous Bonnington Cafe is located just around the corner. The cafe is vegetarian and is run by the local community with a different chef each night.A delicious 3 course home cooked meal costs as little at £12. Bring your own wine, no corkage charge.

The local pub, The Black Dog serves great English food.

The Tea House Theater cafe is located close by and is great for tea and cake.

Visit the Garden Museum Cafe which was recently voted in the top ten best cafes in the world. It is a picturesque 15 minute walk from the apartment.

There are many restaurants and bars located on the Southbank which is a short walk away.
