George and Rebecca Holland
About George and Rebecca Holland
George and I are from Texas and we purchased this property while our son was attending college at Emory & Henry. If you've never seen Emory & Henry college, be sure and make the short trip to exit 26 off I-81 to visit the oldest college in Virginia. We fell in love with the beauty of Southwestern Virginia and hope to retire here someday. George loves to fly fish the South Holston, while my favorite activity is going to plays at the Barter, attending arts and crafts festivals, and walking along the Creeper Trail.
George and Rebecca Holland purchased this Townhome in 2011
Why George and Rebecca Holland chose Abingdon
We looked at many properties in Virginia and settled on this beautiful town home. We love that it is close to everything the area has to offer yet is tucked back in a quiet residential area. It's nice to be able to walk down the hill to the Highland's shopping center and grab a meal at JJ's, Heather's, or work out at the fitness center. Bristol, Virginia, with all its shops and restaurants off exit 7, is a close drive.
What makes this Townhome unique
This town house had recently been redone before we purchased it with new paint, counter tops, and all stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The layout is very efficient with lots of closet space. The finished basement became a bedroom with the addition of a bathroom in the spring of 2014.

Girlfriends Getting Away
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Property as pictured, spotless, well appointed with all we needed (even coffee filters!). Tilda was a most gracious manager who assisted us with all questions about entry and exit. Easy access to downtown Abingdon where everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this site for your explorations of the area!
We really liked this property once we were inside. Lots of thoughtful touches. Steps and driveway really are super steep, though, so those with mobility/knee issues should look elsewhere.
We enjoyed our stay in the townhouse. It was clean and cozy. Plenty of towels, they even supplied coffee and a few pantry items. A gas grill was provided for our use. The property manager was conveniently located next door. It is easy to find with a restaurant within walking distance. Menus from restaurants were supplied as well as information on nearby attractions. This place is a good value.
Thank you for your kind comments, Karen. We hope to see you again soon. Becky
