Local activities in and around La Manga: This is truly a magnificent place for families and couples alike. You can walk for hours on the beautiful, sandy beach from just outside of the apartment. The apartment is located within couple of minutes drive of Thomas Maestre Marina with high class restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, bank, pharmacy etc. Also a newly opened supermarket across the road. You might try the mud beaches at Mar Menor acclaimed for their curing properties. For adventures you can try sailing, wind-surfing, scuba-diving, kite-surfing, water-skiing, wake-boarding, jet-ski and quad-bike rental. To make your stay even more enjoyable you might try the facilities of the newly opened 5 star Abity Spa Hotel located close to the complex offering spa, sauna, fitness centre/gym, Turkish bath, massage, whirpool, hairdresser/beauty salon. Within a 15 minutes drive is the world famous La Manga Golf Club Resort which is considered to be one of Europe's finest golfing destinations. You can get pampered here!

You are advised to arrange your own insurance for person and properties. Most of the banks offer this. For longer rental periods of two or more weeks a discount of 10% is now available (Excludes July/August and Special Winter Rates).

Airport taxi transfers, cot / high chair hire can be arranged on your behalf at extra cost. Upon request our housekeeper can arrange to have ready for your arrival, welcome packs containing, tea/coffee/sugar/milk/ham/juice/cheese/butter etc €20. Add 2 bottles of wine and 6 pkt beer €30.
Please ensure there is an exit cleaning charge of €70 (£65) which you pay to our agent upon arrival.

We arrived in La Manga with three daughters (6, 4 and 1.5 years old). Such a large family must be a challenge for all types of accommodation but the apartment coped with it. We enjoyed the view, the luxurious equipment, the location, briefly, everything.
I must say that this location on the La Manga Strip is ideal for a large family. Both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea are near (appr. 100 and 200 meters). The beach is clean and cleaned every second day. There is a supermarket nearby (important with kids). Other advantage of the apartment is that it is located on the Northern side of the Tomas Maestre Port far from the crowded 'entrance' of the La Manga Strip, having no other large apartment buildings around. Consequently, the neighbourhood is calm, the traffic is moderate.
If in La Manga, we decided not to miss such places as the Alhambra in Granada and the Mezquita in Cordoba. It is a nice 2 days trip, app. 1000 km by car.
When in La Manga, there is no headache where to find a good restaurant. The beach has the ‘Estacio Playa’ and the Tomas Maestre Port offers a lot of restaurant, cafeterias and bars nearby as well.
Briefly, I can recommend this apartment to everybody but especially for large families. It accommodates 6 persons in three bedrooms very comfortably but there are two more places in the living room if necessary. The advertisement is true: ‘a view to die for’.
I just spent 2.5 weeks in the apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I went with my girlfriend, parents and my daughter of 6 (I am 40) and there was something for all of us. Two great swimming pools on the doorstep, two seas either side of the apartment, the marina a short walk away and lots of quaint friendly inexpensive and tasty places to eat. Also, very importantly, a Spar supermarket on the doorstep for everything you need.
The house is spacious, clean and just to sit on that balcony every night with a wine after a hard day of bathing is something I won't easily forget.

What I loved about this flat was waking up and being able to see the sea from the comfort of my bed and then enjoying a coffee on the Balcony, with a view of both the mamenor and mediterranean seas. The flat was very comfortable, it had everything you need. In fact it was better equipped than my own house. It has a great pool, if you don't want to jump in the sea. Shops on the door step and easy access to night life. Having said that, if you like your sleep it is very peaceful during the night. I would highly recommend it.
We took a family holiday to this apartment with our two teenage children. Having travelled extensively in Europe and the USA over the past 20 years we found that this was by far the nicest, cleanest and well maintained apartment we have stayed in ! The view is breathtaking and watching the sun set over a calming mediterranean sea with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed ! There are some beautiful restaraunts both nearby and within walking distance. We also recommend the Tomas Maestre marina with its mix of bars and restaurants -including the cocktail bar which offers all live premiership football on a Saturday (just tell the bar staff which match you want to see!) . A trip to San Javier market by ferry is also a must and there is an array of both active and passive leisure activities for people of all ages. The apartment also benefits from having a supermarket next door with cheap prices. The local food is excellent, particulalrly the fish which is caught fresh each day- in fact you can see the fisherman early in the morning from the balcony view casting their nets !
We would strongly recommend this apartment for people seeking a relaxing break.
My husband and I spent ten wonderful days in this apartment where we found everything to be nothing short of perfect. The apartment had a real home from home feel to it and was equipped to a high standard to meet our every need and would accomodate a larger party just as comfortably. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The location was absolutely perfect with a relaxed and unhurried pace although the local bus run regulary up and down 'The Strip' which enabled us to visit the more touristy spots in La manga. The very busy port of Thomas Maestro with its pretty marina is a pleasant walk and has many bars and restruants to satisfy all tastes. It is here where we caught the ferry to San Javier for a great day out . Overall we will remember our holiday as being very relaxing and very special indeed.
We went to La Manga at the end of July 2011 with 2 children and 2 friends. Accommodation was comfortable, 3 large double bedrooms, and 2 sofas in living room coped with our needs. Well equipped, large kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook. Location on the La Manga Strip is ideal for a large family. Both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea are near (appr. 100 and 200 meters). It is not an ideal place for clubbing lovers, however for those who love night outs there is a bus about every 30 min to centre of La Manga - Zoco Area( cost about 2 euro both ways). When in La Manga, there is no headache where to find a good restaurant. The beach has the ‘Estacio Playa’ and the Tomas Maestre Port offers a lot of restaurant, cafeterias and bars nearby as well. There are 2 markets nearby apartments, 5 min walk. La Manga is about 1,5h drive from Alicante Airport, 2h from Benidorm (worth to visit Terra Mitica and Aqualandia in Benidorm) , 40 mins drive from Cartagena and 1h from Murcia for sightseening.
I recommend this place for everyone, for those who decided to go I recommend a car as well.

THREE bedroom apartment for the price of TWO bedroom apartment with NO HIDDEN EXTRAS! Clean linen and towels are all provided. Only a deposit of £150 or €175 is needed to ensure your booking. However fully refundable after a satisfactory inspection less electrical charges and any damages. Apartment cleaning charges £65.00 or €70 and there are no electrical charges. Check-in timings are 16.00 and check-out 10.00. Please note and an additional charges will apply for late check-in or check-out. No check-in service after 12.30 am or before 7am. All bank charges are to be paid by the ingoing guest.
