A tranquil and cool retreat from the near by, busy town centre.

  • 5 of 5

At only 200 m or so from the busy Cours Mirabeau, this was a cool and tranquil place. With all the windows open, the most prominent sounds came from the birds in the garden. Everything you could want is near at hand; shops, cafes, restaurants and all the markets are within easy walking distance. The apartment is amply big enough for two people (we were there for four weeks), and the practical facilities work well. The WiFi kept us in touch with our world. The bathroom and washing arrangements are particularly good. Keeping best for last, Laurent, our host, was always available to help with advice on how things worked. He came to the TGV station to collect us on arrival, and most generously drove us to the airport when we left.

Wonderful location!

  • 5 of 5

Arrived in Aix after flying from Seattle to Paris and TGV to our home in the Mazarin. Thank you Laurant for the ride from the train station! Walked the neighborhood and found everything we needed from staples (baquettes to cheese to wine) to eateries and sights. The heaters were welcome given our unseasonable chill but we bet the garden provides great respite from the sunshine. Loved our stay!

Great location! Quiet!

  • 4 of 5

Too cool for us to use the garden, but opening the window to hear the birds was lovely. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Very quiet and peaceful

Absolutely Gorgeous

  • 5 of 5

The lovely Laurent was there to show us all the details of the apartment and give us some fascinating history. Being able to stroll the gorgeous town and then return to the peaceful haven of that lovely garden each day was just beyond beautiful.

The apartment itself is spacious- yet cosy- and clean but the location is wonderful. Galleries and cafe, charcuteries and boulangeries fill the surrounding streets, the weekend market on Cars Mirabeau is superb! I loved this place. As we travelled on from here throughout France, we talked again and again about what a lovely time we had in Aix en Provence and it was all due to the place we'd chosen to stay.

Fantastic location and loved the garden

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed the apartment. The private garden was great to have as well. The only issue is partking (if you have a car), in which case I highly recommend you park on the edge of the city at Parc Krypton (or another one) for $2E and take bus into town. It took 10-15min maximum and saved $25E/day!

Perfect location in Aix

  • 5 of 5

This is a charming apartment for a solo or a couple. Squeaky clean, well stocked, and perfectly located. And the private garden is the icing on the cake. Laurent is super. He picked us up from the TGV station and drove us to the door. He thoroughly explained everything in the apartment, and texted us the names of several restaurants to try. He is very professional and likable.

I would return again and again if we come back to beautiful Aix-en-Provence.
