Tastefully renovated with 4 bedrooms and 2 terraces (including one on top floor) coiled (see plan) around a 17-18th century helicoidal staircase.

Swimming and canoe rental at Collias (8km) in Gardon river and in the Mediterranean sea (55 min. drive) or the famous Gorges de l'Ardeche (55 min. drive).
Not typical house at house, on 5 fllors, completly renovated mixing modern and ancient. The result suit us and that will be the same for the travellers.
A beautifully restored house, with a perfect location in the centre of Uzes.
This house was perfect as a base to explore the area. Everything essential was on the doorstep. We love Uzes and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
My family of four stayed here in mid-August. We were met by Sabrina, who was wonderfully helpful. The house is very well located, on a pedestrian street just off the primary avenue, a short walk from the Place Aux Herbes - there are numerous shops, restaurants and cafes very close by. There is a parking space included (!) and the garage is a few minutes walk only. We made day trips in Provence, to Arles, Avignon, Aix, Les Baux - one week was not enough to do all we wanted to do. Uzes is charming. The restaurant Midi a l'Ombre just down the street was wonderful!
The house is quite comfortable, 4 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 2 with twins; one bathroom with separate WC. Shower was very good, plenty of hot water. The mattresses were comfortable. There was no need for AC since the house is all stone. Needless to say, given the pictures that are available, the house is unique, not like any other - in short, we were very happy with our choice!
"The house is lovely and clean, in a quiet pedestrianised street close to the centre. Parking is usually a problem in Uzes but the owners provide a pass for a nearby garage which makes life much easier. We have stayed in this house three years in a row and look forward to staying there again."
"The house in Uzes was great. The position perfect being close to restaurants and central market.
The rooms however lack some of the finishing touches one would expect such as cupboards, hooks and shelving. Some light and door fittings were also missing or unsafe."
"We love this place and consider it our home away from home in Uzes. We (two adults, children aged 5 and 11) stayed for a week. The delights of Uzes are close at hand, along with the Pont du Gard and other Roman sites. The house is clean and bright and well-equipped. And parking, usually a nightmare in Uzes, is not a problem because of the car park ticket. This is a great place to stay and we'll be back again (this was our second visit)."
"This immaculately restored property combines modern amenities with historic authenticity. It was clean, light and airy, with a lovely kitchen/dining/sitting room area that opens onto a terrace at the back. The house is also close to the centre of Uzes (you just cross the road and you are almost at the Place aux Herbes) but in a quiet pedestrianised street, so there is no noise. The bathroom was clean and modern. There is Wi-Fi -- hooray! Another big plus is that parking, normally a nightmare in Uzes, is all taken care of (the owners have a year-round spot in a car park around the corner). There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance, and a choice of boulangeries! This is an exceptional base from which to explore Uzes and the surrounding area (Pont du Gard, Arles, Nimes, Gorges de l'Ardeche etc). We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we look forward to returning next year. And the owners are lovely and thoughtful too! If we could give this place six stars out of five, we would."
