This spacious high specification vacation apartment with private garden in Estepona Costa del Sol has been furnished and fitted out to a very high standard. It is situated in the exclusive Albayt Resort Spa, Golf & Country Club Complex. It is surrounded by beautiful romantic Tropical Gardens with 8 outdoor Pools. There is an impressive split-level pool with bar only 25 meters from the front door.

At the heart of the complex is the stunning Albayt Country Club. This is the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the development, which offers a range of services including a state of the art Spa, 3 hole practice Golf Course & putting green, Driving Range, Restaurant, bar, library, creche, reading room, reception and a fully equipped Gym. Aerobics classes and beauty therapy treatments are also provided.

Here you can indulge yourself in the indoor heated swimming pool, Turkish bath, sauna and various treatment showers with hot and cold jets, essential oils. hydraulic beds for massage, jacuzzi and massage rooms.

The Costa del Sol Region: Over the last few decades, the Costa del Sol has become one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations. Its pleasant climate, numerous beaches and Golf courses have certainly influenced this. There are countless places to visit and things to do which make it one of the most successful tourist areas in Europe. Its capital, Malaga, and the city of Marbella are both cosmopolitan cities with great night life as well as cultural significance and attract the most tourists. It is a vast area with many different faces from the touristy beach towns like Marbella to the more traditional white washed villages of Mijas. The Costa del Sol doesn’t just posses good climate but it also has diversity. It is no wonder it is so popular with holiday makers.

Local attractions : They are several attractions close by to interest the whole family. Selwo Safari Park in Estepona with its animals roaming semi-wild is a great day out as is the Zoo in Fuengirola. There are also two Water Parks close by, in Mijas Costa and in Torremolinos. A great day out is a visit to Gibraltar, (bring your passport) where you can take a tour of 'The Rock' and have close contact with the Apes. For the more adventurous, you can also take a day trip to Morocco on the fast Ferry from Algeciras. Also in the area are several beautiful villages, towns and cites. These include Casares , Benhavis, Ronda, Mijas, Selville and Granada to name but a few.

If you prefer to swim in the sea, the beautiful beaches of Estepona, Duquesa, Sotogrande, Puerto Banus and Marbella are only a few minutes away by car. There is also a natural beach opposite the entrance to the Resort (Bermuda Beach, 250 meters from the apartment) which is accessible on foot (or by car) by crossing the N340 Dual carriageway.

Estepona Region: The property is situated between the charming old town of Estepona and the lovely Puerto de La Duquesa, both only a few minutes drive away. Cosmopolitan Marbella (great for shopping) and the dazzling Puerto Banus (great for people watching) are only 15/20 minutes away and the lively resorts of Fuengerola and Torrelmolinos are within easy reach by car, bus or taxi. Malaga airport is only a 50 minute drive. Other airports include Gibraltar(30 minutes) and Jerez (75 minutes). Gibraltar and its attractions, are a 30 minute drive away, dolphin safari and boat trips can be booked there. The fast ferry to Morrocco which goes from Algeciras is only a 40 minute drive from the apartment. There are several golf courses nearby, the closest being Estopona and Duquesa. The famous Valderama course is only a 15 minute drive away. The beautiful whitewashed village of Caseras is also only a 15 minute drive, and the ancient town of Ronda, with its breathtaking views is just a further 45 minutes.

"The resort is ideal - plenty of pools to lounge around and rarely did we have problems getting a sun lounger. Lots of shady places too. The Club staff are very friendly and the coffee gorgeous. Large flat screen TV in the lounge area to take in the Olympics and free wifi which was well used. A car is essential to get into Estepona and to shop at the numerous cheap supermarkets along the main road.

The apartment is ideally placed - just a few steps from the chiringuita and a split level pool. The garden is bigger than some and has lovely views. Air con very efficient. Bedrooms compact but with excellent storage, good size ensuite and shower room, couches comfy, tv reception fine, dvd player useful. Kitchen well equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Superb pizzas and pasta at restaurant near entrance to Albayt Resort. We had a great time and excellent value for money! Many thanks Tom.

Comfortable holiday base

We spent a very nice week in the Spain at Tom's property. We used it as a base to visit friends in Gibraltar (40 min drive) and see a bit more of the region. Having stayed on the complex in another apartment previously, we knew what we were coming to. Tom's apartment is well positioned with close proximity to a pool and seasonal bar (although the pool was shut when we were there, others were available). The apartment was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed to prepare meals and wash clothes (there is no tumble drier), with the most comfortable seating we have experienced in a rental property, and we've rented a few!

All administration and communication have been punctual and we were met on time at the apartment by Lynn, who was very helpful.

There is basic internet WiFi in the apartment (that you pay 25€ and claim back from Tom),although TV does not currently work, Tom has told me that the TV and Internet service is shortly to be upgraded, this and a few suggestions made to Tom for a couple of improvements, will make this a 5 star property for us.

We will certainly be looking to stay at stay at the apartment again in the future, it really is an ideal location for a quiet out of season stay, although a car is a must.

We did not spend a great deal of time in the immediate area but would recommend the Aldi store for food, especially the bread, very good croissants for a supermarket. Our favourite restaurant was Bahia Beach on Casares Beach, great location and excellent food.

Thank you Tom, we look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Quiet winter location, very comfortable apartment

On the quiet side of Estepona, comfortable clean apartment , car necessary. Any problems we had were quickly sorted by owner Tom, and rental manager Lynne.

One draw back if staying for long periods no TV channels however able to stream channels via Internet onto computer.

We had a great month , excellent weather for January, would recommend Estepona golf course greens in excellent condition.

Overall a great holiday and lovely apartment .

Perfect!

As the owner described, it's a spacious and high end furnished apartment, with all the equipment you'll need! Maybe even more important, it was clean and very well maintained. The location of the apartment is great, only a few minutes by car to several ports and beaches with all it's restaurants and amenities. Ideal for people who want to discover the area; 20 min to Gibraltar, 45 min to Ronda and 10 min to Puerto Banus and Marbella. The customer service was great aswell, communication with the owner was very pleasant as he replies within 24h. I will definitely recommend this holiday apartment to my friends and family.

Great stay!

Lovely air-conditioned apartment with private garden. The clean apartment was well equipped and located on a complex with several swimming pools. The nearest swimming pool is the two level swimming pool (with waterfall) with the upper pool for children depths 60 to 150 cm (lifeguard present) and the lower pool with depths from 120 to 200 cm. There is direct access to the parking garage outside the apartment. With a car you can visit several attractions and villages, information is provided in the apartment. Along the main road (A7/N340) several supermarkets are located Mercadona and Aldi to the north, Lidl and Eroski to the south. We went to the beach in Casares Costa, beach access first roundabout on A7 to the south, here is also a lovely restaurant/bar “La Sal’ located with nice beach and sea views. We had a wonderful time staying in the apartment; unfortunately we stayed for one week but could have easily stayed longer.

Lækker ferie i Albayt Resort

Vi havde er super dejlig ferie i denne lejlighed. Lækker lejelighed med egen have med morgensolen ind på terrassen og skygge på terrassen om eftermiddagen. Skønt med egen have til vores to børn. Akua's bar ligger et stenkast fra lejligheden ligesom swimmingpoolen. Det er dog nødvendigt med en bil til både indkøb, strand, restaurant osv.

Men alt i alt en lækker ferie.

English translation of review. We had super nice holiday in this apartment. Very nice rear garden bearing resemblance to our own back garden, with morning sun onto the terrace and shade on the terrace in the afternoon. Although with its own private garden it was great for our two children. Akua's bar is located a stone's throw from the apartment and the swimming pool. However, it is necessary to have a car to both shopping, beach, restaurant etc.. But all in all a nice holiday.

Great apartment!

The apartment was very clean, large and organized. There is a private garden which is very convenient for eating a meal outside. The pools in the resort were great with large areas for tanning. Communication with Tom was always very convenient, he gave us directions on how to get to the resort which included a map of the resort. With any concerns we had prior to leaving he responded very quickly and was always helpful. Overall our stay was wonderful and we would recommend Tom's apartment to anyone visiting the area.

The famous Valderrama course is only 20 minutes away as is San Roque, Marbella, Atalaya, El Paraiso and Sontogrande. A Handicap Certificate is required by most Golf Clubs.

Cots (Travel Type) and a High Chair are available at a nominal rate if required. A fold-away bed is available at a small extra charge for a 5th person.
