Comfortably decorated in traditional Portuguese style, this spacious property is on the first floor of a small two level modern unit of fourteen apartments. It has its own private balcony and roof terrace, both of which command beautiful sea and countryside views and yet is only 250 metres from the secluded and sandy Benagil beach.
The tiny village of Benagil is set mid-way along the 5.7 Km area of outstanding natural beauty know as 'The Seven Hanging Valleys' Walk.' It offers stunning views along its spectacular cliff top walk with the opportunity to descend onto its beatiful 'secret' beaches which are tucked into this most beautiful and unspoilt of European coastline. It offers views which once seen will never be forgotten.
The fishing village of Benagil - : Benagil is one of the few remaining small Algarve fishing villages which would once have typified the Algarve coast. Of about seventy houses, it is situated on the cliff tops either side of a small ravine which leads to its beautiful beach. Quiet and tranquil, it is an idyllic place to start exploring the unspoiled coastline with its beautiful cliff top walks. And yet within a 15 minute drive there is the lively resort of Carvoero with its many restaurants, the port of Portimao with its renowned quay-side sardine lunches and the town of Lagoa, the traditional wine producing centre of the Algarve.
The Apartment - : Apartment Neptuno will offer you very comfortable accommodation throughout your stay in the Algarve. The apartment is one of fourteen and is on the first floor of the small two level Apartmento Neptuno. It has two bedrooms in traditional Portuguese decor, sleeping a total of five people. The master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom, three single beds. There is also a child's cot and a 'bolster' high chair fitting available for your use. The apartment has two bathrooms; both with a shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, and WC, one of the bathrooms is en suite in the second bedroom. A twice weekly maid service is provided to clean the apartment and our manageress, who supervises the property on our behalf, will visit early during your stay to ensure everything is to your satisfaction.
The sitting room is furnished in Portuguese style and has armchairs and sofa seating for five people and dining facilities for six. There is a glass fronted wood log fire with integral electric fans - perfect for cool winter evenings! Triple patio doors open up onto the south facing private balcony with views of the sea, cliff tops and the village. From this balcony a staircase leads to a large private roof terrace commanding almost 180-degree sea views to the South and countryside views to the North with the Monchique hills in the distance. The balcony has lighting, a table, chairs and parasol; there is also lighting on the roof terrace which is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and a built-in barbecue and servery. There are also sun loungers at the poolside for your use.

Benagil is a small and very relaxing village, with some very nice restaurant with sea-view! It's a place where you can relax by the pool, walk along the beautiful coast, or take a swim at one of the beatiful beaches.
The Apartment is spacios and very comfortable. A nice touch was that the maid also cleaned it in the middle of the week,. The hole area is well kept, and the pool is also very nice,.
We were 2 adults and 3 children, and we agreed that this was one of the best Apartments we had rented on all our travels around Europe.
We came to Benagil after one week in Lisbon, and had a very relaxing week in this faboulus place.!
Our youngest son learned to swim in the pool, we read a lot of books, and we had many walks along the coast.
Most evenings we grilled some good meat or fresh fish on the roof top terrace of the Apartment. The last evening we had som great Chicken Piri-Piri at one of the reastaurants in the village.
We would really recommend this Apartment, and the contact with the English owner, and the property manager was very proffessional.

This apartment had everything we could have wanted from a holiday apartment, clean, spacious, well appointed with modern appliances and perfectly located for local beaches or the busier resorts nearby.
With the short stroll to the local beach, a quick drive to the incredible 'Smugglers Cove' and the simply top quality local restaurants 'O Algar' and 'O Pescador' we rarely felt the need to venture further afield.
Some days the beach was just too hot for the kids so we would spend the rest of the day enjoying the loungers and the pool.
We enjoyed many evenings relaxing on the balcony, drinking wine, watching the twinkling lights of the fishing boats out at sea and listening to the sounds of the evening diners drifting across the valley.
In a nutshell, if you holiday in Benagil you will feel like you've discovered a closely guarded secret while the apartment is the perfect place to make that discovery. Just perfect.
We had a wonderful week in Benegil.The apartment was very clean and spacious and a perfect setting. Lots of places to visit and a lovely beach just down the hill. The locals were very friendly as were other holiday makers staying at Neptuno. The weather was beautiful and so are the views from the apartment. The most relaxing and peaceful break we have ever had.

Great apartment, lovely relaxing view. Ideal all year round. Very spacious and well equiped, everything you could possibly need. Ideal for walking,cycling, swimming. Lots of restaurants not too far away, some within walking distance and others car required. Still plenty of these open even over the Xmas break. Had a lovely time and would recommend for all ages. Steps up to the apartment would be difficult for anyone with a disability with walking.
wow what a holiday we had, this apartment has everything you need, home from home fantastic! the apartment has two great size bedrooms, very modern and clean bathrooms with one on suite.
The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to cook for the family or you could use the barbecue on the lovely upstairs sun terrace which is very private.
The swimming pool at the back of the apartment is so clean and a great size, also safe for children.
If you decide to eat out you have the choice of five supurb resturants in walking distance to the apartment, which is good in my book!
You do need a car to stay here, but it is a nice drive from the Faro airport and the instructions are very easy to follow.
The villiage has a nice beach and you can walk the cliffs to further beach's, with sand to die for!!!!
I have no problem in recommending this fantastic apartment, and hope if you do decde to stay there, enjoy as we have.
Such a stunning location in the beautiful little fishing village of Benagil, nice and quiet and away from the resorts (but ssupermarkets etc only short drive away) and so close to the stunning beaches of Benagil and Carvalho you can hear the waves.
The villa itself was completely self-contained and perfect for our needs and we had such a brilliant time enjoying the local surrounds and the perfect weather. Spent evenings on the rooftop terrace and balcony, enjoying the view and cooking on the barbecue with plenty of time in the pool as well.
Owner was extremely helpful and easy to deal with and made our stay effortless. Thoroughly recommended and extremely good value for money.
Benagil is a very small fishing village 5kms east of Carvoeiro and 8kms south of Lagoa in the Western Algarve. Set upon the beautiful unspoilt cliffs of the Algarve coastline, it still retains much of its old rural charm as it is well away from the larger holiday resorts. If you are seeking a quieter location with a touch of old Portugal which offers beautiful cliff top walks, then this is the location for you. It is within an hour's drive of Faro Airport.

A 15% deposit is required when the reservation is made with the balance being paid six weeks prior to the start of the holiday period.
