About Annika Purkhardt
We fell in love with Cassis whilst on a rock climbing trip several years ago. Cassis is a gem; it is a classic, old, Mediterranean fishing village steeped in history and packed with wonderful restaurants and shops. The port and the promenade is an eclectic mix of boats, yachts, bars, cafes and restaurants with a wonderful atmosphere of its own.
Annika Purkhardt purchased this Apartment in 2006
Why Annika Purkhardt chose Cassis
Cassis is a gem and there is so much to do! The apartment is unusually spacious with exceptional views to the sea, the old chateau and Cap Canaille. It is a five minute walk to the port and water front restaurants and all amenities are within walking distance.
What makes this Apartment unique
Free, private, barrier controlled parking - a huge bonus in high season Cassis. Interesting and diverse view, particularly lovely as the sun sets.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 3 adults. It had plenty of room, a nice bathroom (with great towels 😊) and a balcony with fantastic view of Cap Canaille!
We were met promptly, by Daniela, shown where to park( gated parking included). She escorted us to the apartment and answered any questions we might have. She also left a a bottle of wine 😊 The apartment is in a great location, very close to the harbor. Cassis was one of our favorite areas, it is a beautiful little town.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Lilas and appreciated our lovely view. And I'm delighted you liked the new towels! We hope to welcome you back soon.
Most relaxing holiday ever!
We were fortunate enough to stay at Lilas for approximately two weeks in October. The location was perfect and the apartment had everything that we needed and more. We really enjoyed spending time on the balcony and I will never forget the view. The apartment is within walking distance of the harbour and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the restaurants and shops - as well as the markets - there was even an antique market on Sunday morning where I managed to get an antique corkscrew - one of the highlights of my shopping! We were able to take the bus into Marseille one day and found the bus system very easy to navigate. Although we had some heavy rain during our stay, there was a couple of excellent shops across the street where you could buy delicious takeout food - so we were able to bring dinner back to the apartment if it was too wet to go out. Cassis is a beautiful place to visit and I would highly recommend it to everyone - I know that we would love to visit both Lilas and Cassis in the very near future!
Thank you for your lovely review Brenda! I am so pleased you enjoyed staying in Lilas, savouring the view and winding down on the balcony. I am glad you have a special holiday purchase to remind you of your time spent in Cassis. We hope to welcome you back very soon :)
Beautiful view, great location and well equipped
We loved our stay in Cassis! The apartment was perfect for my husband and I. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to restaurants and beach/port although somewhat hilly (all of Cassis is hilly 😀) . Getting keys and return of deposit was painless. All in all would highly recommend and we would rent again in a heartbeat.
The apartment was perfect. We would highly recommend it to others. Our hosts Daneille and Victor went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and offered suggestions of were to go for the best bakery, groceries and restaurants. They are the best.

The Calanques, a national park, are Provencal fjords with crystal clear turquoise water. Framed by white limestone cliffs and the deep blue of the ocean, secret beaches and coves await discovery. Catch a boat from the port (they leave every half hour) or walk in the Calanques where you can enjoy a picnic, the sun and a spot of diving or snorkelling, or just sit back and catch some rays! A renowned diving area, complete with Roman wrecks, lies half an hour's boat ride out to sea. Alternatively you may prefer to take advantage of the world famous rock climbing nearby or just enjoy a peaceful stroll along the water's edge or watching the world pass by from one of the many bars and cafes along the port.
Cassis produces a delicious white wine, the result of a long tradition of wine making. Many of the local Chateaux welcome visitors and offer free wine tasting.
Other enjoyable days out include visits to Marseille or Aix-en-Provence where music and dance festivals take place regularly.
