Spacious light and quiet apartment with gorgeous views in great location

Great value for money. Much better than a most of the more expensive places we have stayed in.The apartment is well proportioned, comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. It is uncluttered, airy, and has air conditioning. Very well equipped kitchen with massive bench space (the only thing lacking is a big sharp knife). The location is near the Vieux Port, so on the edge of the Le Panier district, the old part of town, as well as the trendy area around Rue Paradis. We did a lot of walking, and found it a lovely retreat at the end of the day. There is a supermarket a few steps away, and opposite that a good baker, and green grocer. It is on 5th floor, with a lift. I really thought it was excellent. Another reviewer said "I could live here". This is high praise and I agree.

Superb location

The apartment was in a brilliant location near Vieux Port as well as being close to the old city and plenty of restaurants. The apartment itself was in a beautiful building and had views overlooking the port, and had all the household amenities you would need. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment and Elise kindly gave us a few ideas on where to visit.

I could live here!

We LOVED our week in this place. The views seduce you straight away but for a whole week everything else must work. Luminous and spacious, perfectly laid out, we wished we could buy something like this. Air con, lift and comfort. Supermarket next door, plus loads of other commerces. Good bus route and not far from Vieux Port metro but you can walk to most things.The attractions seem to be more on Le Vieux Port, Le Panier and Les Docks these days than Le Canabiere and this apartment is smack bang in the middle of all this. If you want 14 July fireworks to kick off your stay, then Tour de France to finish with then this is your spot. Oh, and the jazz festival in between. We have stayed several times in Marseille but this tops it off, merci beauoup Elise.

Great pied-à-terre to visit Marseille and its surrounding.

Spacious apartment with amazing view , located near the old port , closed to the train station, grocery stores , restaurants and bakeries.

Apartment is as described, clean, spacious and, on the 5th floor of a building with elevator , it is well equipped if you want to cook . Bed and lining are excellent .

Communications with Élise , the owner, are easy and exchange of keys was as per agreement.

Would strongly recommend this property to everyone.

Room with amazing views .....

Elise's apartment is ideally situated near the Vieux Port, with outstanding views of le Panier district and Notre Dame de la Garde. The nearby shops provided all our needs from the Supermarche to the Boulangerie and it is but a short walk to la Gare.

Elise had responded to all our emails promptly before we arrived and gave us a friendly welcome, introducing us to all the facilities in the apartment. It was clean, well maintained and very spacious. It suited us perfectly and we would certainly recommend it to friends and relatives .
