Space 1,291 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 7 nights

About the property

(Reg. No. HUTT-012373-31) Perfect home to share, enjoy and relax with family and friends. Ideally located for excursions to a variety of popular sights. A 2/3 bedroom (sleeps 6/8), sunny Mediterranean terrace cottage located in a nice, residential neighbourhood of a quiet medieval village. This is a house where you can fully appreciate the beautiful, mild Mediterranean climate throughout the year due to the many large windows and doors communicating with the exterior, both front and back. 10 min walk to the beautiful broad beach and a 3 min walk to the town centre. Town has all amenities. The house is just a few blocks from the historic village centre, with its castle, church, supermarket, town swimming pool, tennis courts, etc. Just below the church and castle, there is a plaza with a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and coast. There is a weekly outdoor market on Sundays, where you can buy fresh produce, as well as very affordable clothing and accessories, beach towels and toys. A great cultural experience! The long, broad beach, with its golden sand gently sloping into the sea. It extends for several kilometres in both directions to adjacent towns. Perfect for walking, jogging or biking, with a scenic cliff-top viewpoint overlooking the blue Mediterranean at each end where you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets. The surrounding countryside has rolling hills, fruit and olive orchards, fields of produce, and pine trees. A bit further inland are vineyards and towns with cooperatives and cellars where you can sample the local wines. Average temps. Dec 16/8, Mar 18/9, May 22/14.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Merci. Ce furent de très belles vacances. On souhaiterait y retourner !

Good location in a Spanish style house

  • 5 of 5

We were warmly welcomed by David and Montse and were given good local information. They told us about the fiesta in Roma de Bara which we enjoyed with the grandchildren - very traditional and friendly

We always used the car to go to the local beach as it was too far to walk with young children. The beach was great - tidy, sandy, clean toilet and good Bars

Visited Aqua Leon water park - about a half hour drive across the hills - enjoyed by all of us and not too big

Creixell has good amenities - supermarket, bakers, cafe's and helpful Tourist Info but little English spoken

We really loved the picturesque Spanish village and area

Montse and David very helpful and made our holiday very comfortable - our two grandchildren of 3 and 5 loved the house as much as us

"We really enjoyed our recent stay in Creixell. When we arrived we were greeted by Montse and David who were extremely helpful and very friendly and made us feel immediately at home. The house itself was spotlessly clean and located in a wonderful situation overlooking the Mediterranean. The house has all the basic requirements and a few nice extras like 2 bicycles and general beach equipment like 2 parasols, rush beach mats, bat and ball games etc. The general area is very quiet with very little traffic noise. The house is located about 5 minutes walk from the historic centre of Creixell which is a lovely village with several good food stores, restaurants and bars.Creixell itself is in a wonderful location, being less than one hour's drive or train journey from Barcelona and only 15km from Tarragona. Finally the nearest beach, which is a good 20 minutes brisk walk (we drove instead),is a beautiful sandy beach and very safe for swimming. We (2 adults and 2 teenage kids) stayed for a week in the house and had a really relaxing and enjoyable vacation".

Agréable location

  • 3 of 5

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5
