Located inside the walled perimeter of Villa Grabau, Casa di Annadora is a sophisticated tuscan villa & holiday residence. Completely independent, the villa consists of approx. 210 sqm over 2 floors with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a private garden with gazebo and beautiful swimming pool. All rooms have double windows overlooking the exotic garden.
The charming owner Annadora lived here for many years and furnished the house with all the memories of the places that she visited in her long life: China, India, Nepal, Tibet, exotic islands, and then Capri, Rome, Venice ....
The predominant theme is the elephant, an animal that is said to bring good fortune to those who love it!
The atmosphere of the tuscan villa is aristocratic, seductive and rich in detail giving it a unique and memorable style.
The exclusive rectangular pool (7m x 14m with a depth from 1.2m to 2.5m) can be found in front of the house, where there is a large space for w the road for approximately 1.5 km always travelling alongside the water course. Stay right on Via Fraga Alta and follow the road until you reach the entrance to Villa Reale. Turn left into Via delle Ville and continue to follow for another 200 meters until you reach the entrance of Villa Grabau. relaxing as well as a hot shower. There is also ample space for private parking.

From Pisa or Viareggio, take the exit marked Lucca (East or West) to merge onto Viale Europa. Head towards the city centre and follow the road around the walls in the direction of Abetone / Bagni di Lucca (SS12/Via Del Brennero). After 5 km, turn right towards Villa Grabau-Pizzorne-Matraia and follow the road for approximately 1.5 km always travelling alongside the water course. Stay right on Via Fraga Alta and follow the road until you reach the entrance to Villa Reale. Turn left into Via delle Ville and continue to follow for another 200 meters until you reach the entrance of Villa Grabau. From Florence, take the exit marked Capannori and at the roundabout, turn right into SP23/ Via Romana. Follow the road until the next roundabout and turn left into SP61/Via Antonio Rossi. At the end of the road, turn right into SS435/Via Pesciatina (locality of Lunata) and then immediately turn left at the roundabout into the tree-lined avenue of SP29/Viale Europe, towards Marlia. Continue on SP29/Viale Europa following the signs towards Villa Grabau (turning right at Via dei Ceccotti or Via Ceppo di Melo). Turn slightly right into Via Fraga Alta and follow the road until you reach the entrance to Villa Reale. Turn left into Via delle Ville and continue to follow for another 200 meters until you reach the entrance of Villa Grabau. Whilst it is tempting to relax at Villa Grabau enjoying the beauty and surroundings, the location is ideally placed for exploring Tuscany. Exploring Lucca: Lucca and its medieval wall, ancient architecture, restaurants, fabulous shops and summer festivals, is less than a 15 minutes drive away. Once there, a fun way to explore Lucca is by bike, as inside the city walls, the city is virtually car free. You can hire bikes from Piazza Santa Maria del Borgo and Corso Garibaldi. Informal guided tours of Lucca are also available - contact Federico for more details. Walking or hiking: Take one of the many trails through the extensive wooded forests on the estate or to the local villages. Close to Villa Grabau is a beautiful 2–3 hr walk following the “via delle Ville” or you can walk up the hill towards Matraia and then on to Pizzorne. This is a 3—4 hr hike but worth the view and the fabulous restaurant at the top—Aldebaran (0527401039). Seaside: The seaside resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio are 40 minutes away and nearby Pietrasanta is a thriving town full of art galleries, cafes and restaurants. There is a good clean and sandy public beach at Marina di Vecchiano with restaurants and pizzeria close by. Cycling: We highly recommend cycling during your stay at Villa Grabau - it's a great way to see the location and it gives you time to savour the views, discover the country side, breathe the fresh air!
